Willian's trip to Dubai has been dealt with and we have moved on, insists Mikel Arteta

Mikel Arteta said he has spoken with Willian about the Brazilian’s trip to Dubai during the international break and “dealt with” the issue, although the Arsenal manager would not confirm if the winger will be in the squad to face Leeds United this weekend. Willian flew to Dubai during the break and was pictured in a restaurant. Telegraph Sport understands the Arsenal players were advised by the club to not travel abroad, although Willian is believed to have since claimed he was there on business. “That has been dealt with and explained, and we move on,” said Arteta. “We had a conversation and I explained what I was expecting. There are a lot of personal factors at the moment and, from our side, we need to be in their shoes. “A lot of players are having different issues, like any public person out there, and sometimes they make decisions based on the needs or the moment or what people are expecting from there. Whether they are right or wrong, after obviously it is a thing we have to discuss.” Asked if Willian will be in the squad that travels to Leeds, Arteta said: “It has been resolved, explained and dealt with in the team and the club. That is all I can say.”
