Here goes nothing...

QB(3):
3 Carson Palmer
5 Drew Stanton
6 Logan Thomas

RB(5):
38 Andre Ellington
31 David Johnson
30 Stepfan Taylor
39 Robert Hughes (FB/HB)
33 Kerwynn Williams

TE(4):
85 Darren Fells
87 Troy Niklas
83 Gerald Christian (TE/HB)
80 Ifeanyi Momah

WR(5):
11 Larry Fitzgerald
15 Michael Floyd
12 John Brown
13 Jaron Brown
14 JJ Nelson

OL(8):
61 Jonathan Cooper G
68 Jared Veldheer T
78 Earl Watford G/T
74 DJ Humphries T
70 Bobbie Massie T
62 Ted Larsen C/G
53 AQ Shipley C
76 Mike Iupati G

DL(8):
98 Corey Peters NT/DE
66 Alameda Ta'amu NT
93 Calais Campbell DE
92 Frostee Rucker DE
72 Ed Stinson DE
95 Rodney Gunter DE
90 Cory Redding DE
91 Matt Shaughnessy DE

LB(9):
57 Alex Okafor OLB
51 Kevin Minter ILB
96 Kareem Martin OLB
47 Shaq Riddick OLB
44 Markus Golden OLB
52 Lamarr Woodley OLB
55 Sean Weatherspoon ILB
48 Alani Fua ILB/58 Daryl Washington (Post Suspension)
59 Darryl Sharpton ILB

DB(8):
21 Patrick Peterson CB
28 Justin Bethel CB
20 Deone Bucannon SS
32 Tyrann Mathieu FS/CB
22 Tony Jefferson SS
26 Rashad Johnson FS
25 Jerraud Powers CB
37 Alfonzo Dennard CB

ST(3):
7 Chandler Catanzaro K
9 Dave Zastudil P
82 Mike Leach LS

Notable Cuts:
97 OLB Lorenzo Alexander: Honestly, i just don't know where he fits in the picture. He has not impressed me whatsoever when he's played, on defense or special teams... we shall see
10 WR Brittan Golden: I actually love Golden and would rather him be on the roster instead of Nelson but you don't spend a 5th round pick on a return man for nothing.
73 DE Josh Mauro: I really liked what i saw out of him last year, but with all the defensive line depth I'm not sure he sticks... It was either him or Shaughnessy.

I think one of the running backs could be cut in favor of another defensive back or tight end. I just don't see anyone on the current roster that could claim those spots at the moment.

Thoughts?

Excellent job! I think you have a very good sense of what BA&SK have in mind.

My thoughts:

1. I think Kerwynn Williams is going to create quite a buzz this year. Good choice on his part.

2. As you said, they may not keep 5 RBs---and I think they may have to make a tough decision on keeping Taylor or Hughes---probably Taylor because he is better on STs, and if Gerald Christian shows he can be effective as an H-Back/situational FB, then Hughes could be further on the bubble. And---I think the coaches are also pretty high on Marion Grice. I heard BA mention him a few times this off-season.

3. I think Brittan Golden will make the team this year. I can see them keeping 6 WRs, if they keep 4 RBs or 3 TEs (Fitz is now a hybrid TE/WR).

4. I feel the same way about DE Josh Mauro which is why I think we might see a trade involving Matt Shaughnessy or Ed Stinson. Or---if Ta'amu falters, the coaches have said they plan to start Peters at NT and to give Stinson some reps there---so that way Mauro sticks.

5. I think some sleepers at LB will be OLB Zach Wagenmann and ILBs Gabe Martin and Andrae Kirk. It would not surprise me either if Kenny Demens and/or Glenn Carson make a strong case. They are going to be highly motivated and a year wiser and stronger. That said, I think you are right on about Alani Fua. If he shows up and stays healthy, with his length and athleticism, he's going to make this roster.

6. Alfonso Dennard is going to get challenged by Jimmy Legree and if the competition is close, the coaches probably will lean toward Legree. C.J. Roberts is going to turn some heads as well.

7. If the Cardinals keep QB Logan Thomas, I wonder if they give him some reps at TE...which could open up another roster spot. Finding creative ways to keep the 53 players they like the best is going to be paramount.

Great job. To nit pick, randomly:
1. I like Bolser over Momah, but I think the coaches agree with you.
2. Team talks about flexibility for the DL, and that is why I think Mauro with his PR skills over Ta'amu.
3. I understand that Martin was a high draft pick in '14, but I think he'll have to show more this year in order to make the team.
4. Expect five CB's with Legree making the team.
5. Expect a vet WW addition at TE.

But, again great job.

I think that is as good a guess as anyone's. I sort of expect at least one of our 53 to be on another team right now, just always seems to end up that way--but at this point it would be impossible to guess who that is.

Id like to keep Legree, tradeoff with Sharpton.

Im concerned with our CB depth still, so we need to keep as many as possible. We only have 2 veteran CBs. PP and Powers. Dennard is technically a vet, but hes new to our system. And Bethel is completely unproven. Tyrann is moreso a S now, I don't think he can play the twitchy slot CB position anymore with his knee.

So you gotta think if any of our CBs get hurt, which happens, we are already thin. Keep Legree for sure

I agree. Having 8 defensive backs is nerve racking. However I would rather get rid of Robert Hughes and let Christian take over his role. While I think Sharpton is at the bottom of the 53, I can't see having only 3 ILB

I agree with Mitch - Brittan Golden makes the team; too much talent. And, 3 TEs seem appropriate, with the third TE possibly coming off the waiver wire. Also, I'm not enthralled with Logan Thomas as the 3rd QB. If I was Coach, I'd start using him as a TE, right-off on Aug. 1, to see what he can do.
