My new job still gives me plenty of time
Off for travel. Off all summer. Off 2 weeks at Christmas. Off a week during Thanksgiving week. Off for spring break. Plus every major holiday including the Friday and Monday that bracket Easter. Plus I earn vacation time and 12 days a year of sick.

The kicker is during all this time off I’m still collecting a full paycheck. Including the entire summer. Oh and only a 7 hour shift as well.

No threat mitigation specialist basically with some added small security related details. I ride around in a golf cart all shift(swings) so 90% of faculty and staff are gone while I’m there. Main responsibility for me is sporting events. In an armed capacity. My main focus and duty is to respond in the event of an active assailant. I will also close and lock a few gates at certain times. It’s at a very high end private school that basically all the rich kids and kids of celebrities go to here in Vegas. They are well known for their athletic program and winning football/baseball and basketball national championships at the HS level as well.

The athletic facility is ridiculous and better than many D1 colleges.

I've been heavily applying for jobs since January and haven't heard back from the vast majority of them. They just ghost.

With more than a decade of advertising experience. My injury really really really has set my life upside down, and companies just won't even give you a call anymore. I'm willing to take entry level work but they're not interested. So weird.
