The 2025 NFL draft is exactly a month away.
With a chance at being the No. 1 overall pick on the line, Miami quarterback Cam Ward will get to show off his arm at his pro day today.
The Hurricanes quarterback didn't throw at the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis in February, instead opting to do so at his pro day.
"Me throwing here is not going to move me any type of way," Ward said at the combine. "I'm just excited to throw at my pro day to the best receiving corps in the country."
Since the combine, Ward has often been considered the favorite to be taken first overall in the draft by the Tennessee Titans. If a team like the Cleveland Browns or New York Giants want Ward, they'll likely have to move up from pick Nos. 2 and 3, respectively.
A start time for Miami's pro day has yet to be announced. NFL Network is airing a Miami pro day special at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
Ward starred in his only season in Coral Gables, Florida, after transferring from Washington State. A Heisman Trophy finalist last season, Ward completed 67.2% of his passes for 4,313 yards, 39 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He also ran for 204 yards and four interceptions for the Hurricanes.
In two seasons at Washington State and one at Miami, Ward completed 66% of his passes for 11,281 yards, 87 touchdowns and 23 interceptions. He started his collegiate career at Incarnate World.
