5 for 139 and a TD in the national championship against Clemson, that was after 4 for 73 and a TD against OU 5 for over 70 and a TD against Auburn, 8 for 103 against LSU, that was soph year. This year yeah stats were down again because he was seeing double teams every week.

He's 6 for 204 now today
Not arguing that he hasn't has some very impressive games, but a lot of his most productive game came against very bad defenses and has had some really quiet games against good defenses as well (A&M 4/50, Tenn 3/41, Auburn 5/26 all this year). You say it's because of extra attention, but does that mean team's aren't giving extra attention to Lamb? He has been torching teams this year and thus I find it hard to believe he isn't getting a ton of attention from opposing defenses.

Oh I love Lamb too I just think the argument you're making is one sided, have you looked at OU's schedule? He had 2 games against what I would consider to be good defenses, LSU and Baylor. Baylor was legit, LSU he had the huge 51 yarder early and then did nothing until the game was totally out of reach. He set up their first score to tie the game at 7, the next time he touched the ball the score was 35-7 LSU. The rest of the season was against mostly very bad defenses, he put up good numbers against Alabama the year before but again it all came after the game got away, his first big play in that game was down 28-0.

They're both really good I'll be happy with either I just think you can make a pretty good argument for Jeudy, he's likely faster(we'll see when they run assuming both come out) and Jeudy's routes are just out of this world good, he gets open so easily it's like a video game.

I sure hope the guy working the Bama game is wrong he was suggesting Tua might stay and if he does he thinks several big names might stay too, with the 8th pick we REALLY want Tua and Jeudy to come out.

FYI I was NOT impressed with Raekwon Davis today, people compare him to Calais, I get the comparison similar size, plays both inside and outside but he seems fairly unathletic, not particularly great footwork. I think he can play yes but I can see why his stock fell last year and hasn't really come back this year. He's definitely not someone I think should go in the top 15 or so picks, he seems more like a late first or early second pick.

Hearing them talk about Tua coming back was almost cringeworthy. I think Smith will come back and Waddle has to return. They both seem to have chemistry with Mac Jones.m

Why I don’t mind players sitting out non-major bowls. N’Keal Harry did it last year at Herm’s suggestion.

I can't help but believe that some on our board are underestimating Jeudy. K1/Jeudy combo could be lethal for the next decade. I need to watch more tape of him. My Alabama contacts think VERY highly of him & I don't believe there are any headcase or off the field issues either. But, Alabama people do tend to over value their own. Unless, of course, you get the scoop directly from Saban. He's brutally honest when it comes to off the field or personality related issues.
Jeudy made his case today for sure.

Simmons it's kind of Daryl Washington
Extremely quick and fast, good tackling technique and can cover like a cb
He has like 35inch arms
He plays ilb safety and pass rusher

Can he bulk up a little and be just a linebacker? Can he hold up at LB at his current weight? I certainly don’t want a tweener.

After Jeudy's performance against Michigan, I can't imagine him being available at pick 8. Very impressive in every way.

DWaste was 6'2", 230Lbs. and 4.66 forty. Simmons is listed at 6'3", 230Lbs. and 4.5 forty. Favorable numbers...

Dwashington had no problem covering anyone on the field, he was much more faster then 4'66 speed he was clocked at combine
They are very similar, with very long arms
Dwash almost 35inch arms

It will be interesting to see what Tua says Monday.

Here’s my take on our wide receivers.
1. Kirk will never be a #1 wr. He is a slot receiver.
2. Issabella May develop but guess what? Another slot type receiver.
3. Cooper and Byrd are basically the same guy. Fast but will basically never win a 50/50 battle. You could probably put Sheffield in the same category.
4 Fitz, well he’s Fitz and he plays the slot. See the pattern here?
5. Butler. We can pray that he is the big outside 50/50 receiver we need.
Can Lamb or Juedy fill that need? If not we need to look somewhere else. We have enough speed at wr but lack physicality.

The most logical choice would be Okudah. He could step right into cb2 and possibly replace PP21 in 2021. Also would be insurance for Alford and allow us to move Murphy to the slot.

this team need defense. Go after Littleton to start. I think Chopper suggested Weatherby. Suddenly this defense would be much faster.
1. Kirk looked slower this year than last when he ran a 4.47. His leg injuries may be responsible but you’re right if the speed doesn’t return.
2. Agree, he seems hopeless against press coverage is what I hear.
3. Correct, but with injury being certain they have a role. Cooper’s return skills give him the edge. I see Sheffield as more of a possession receiver. He’s fast, but not spread the field fast.
4. Priority.
5. Likely a red zone weapon at best. He still drops too many balls.
Lamb, like younger Fitz, can play anywhere. Instant connection with Murray! I can’t stress enough how valuable it is for a QB to know a receiver’s speed and tendencies. He would be more productive than Jeudy. Like Fitz he’ll get better year to year. Sooner or later the Cards will have to secure an impact receiver. There would be no surer way to fill the need than Lamb.

So there could be a run on QBs with as many as 4 going in the top 8? Bengals for certain and Dolphins, Chargers likely with Lions and Panthers as wildcards for a QB?

So available to us would be at least one of...

Young
Jeudy
Lamb
Simmons
Okudah
Brown
Thomas

in that order for me
