Wiz - While you're busy benching those that don't "perform" does that include you?

Wouldn't it be refreshing to hear -

"This is week 13, all NFL teams have injuries to deal with. It's the coaching staffs responsibility to put the players they have in position to make plays and we have failed to do that."

Hey, a guy can dream.

Instead, Wizenpunt talks every week about players not "executing" as if he's got some master plan that can't fail if these darn players would just do their jobs. The Rams certainly don't have a very talented roster, hence the 2-14 record last year with the same players, but their coach went in at half time and made the necessary adjustments to win the game.

Apparently our game plan and our processes are so perfect, that if we only executed them properly all would be good... no adjustment necessary

I was at the game today. The thing that is the most frustrating is that on almost every single play, at least 1 person was open for a play to be made (Fitz on NUMEROUS occasions). You can get mad all you want about a lot of things, but these guys need to execute. We lost a game that our scheme had us winning all day long. Just terrible.

Wiz - "OK guys, I want you to go out there are score"

result of the play - not a score

Wiz - "Darn it, I thought I told you to go out there and SCORE! What part of that did you not understand!"

see - master plan is fail proof, if the players would just execute.

The scheme isn't the problem. You simply cannot win in this league if your QB cannot get the ball from point A to point B. Whiz's problem is picking quarterbacks not picking plays.

Urban said this elsewhere, but Andy Reid says this every week. Does it make Philly fans feel better? Would you be happier if Whis came out every Monday and ran through this litany? Is saying it going to save Reid's job?

This. The problem isn't that we lack a Top 5 QB. Those are had to come by. The problem is that we lack a Top 25 QB--even when Kolb's healthy. Each guy we plug in is worse than the previous guy, and we're flailing around in the darkness not even knowing what we're looking for.

It's embarrassing. It's even more embarrassing that Whis keeps referring to Miami's search for a QB after Marino is that even the Dolphins started Jay Fiedler(!) for four seasons before starting to play QB roulette. The Fins went 41-23 in the four years after Marino retired and made the playoffs twice.
