The Wizards play at the Suns tonight with a 7:30 Arizona start time. It looks like Brandon Knight is out with a sports hernia problem and John Leuer is out with a right ankle sprain. IMO, this may be the last the Suns see of Knight this season and rightfully so.

Here are some comments from Paul Coro at azcentral.

Suns guard Brandon Knight was doubtful to play Friday night against Washington due to the sports hernia that sidelined from Jan. 21 to March 9. Knight has played in 10 of the past 11 games, missing one game due to a stomach virus. He has said that he has not felt at full strength. Since returning, Knight has averaged 19.1 points, 4.8 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 turnovers with 37.1 percent shooting, including 36.7 percent on 3-points.

Suns power forward Jon Leuer will not play against the Wizards after spraining his right ankle during two-on-two play Thursday.

On top of being a terrible player, I wonder if Knight is gonna become a very injury prone player too. That contract is gonna be bad regardless of his age and regardless of how much the salary cap rises.

Enjoy the game and utter a boo for me as well. I'm glad that matter is over-with.

They need to shut Knight down for the remainder.

Gortat is really talking saying he didn't foul Chandler.

In the 2002 NBA Draft I thought Nene would be a special player. Injuries have hurt his career. Needless to say, I glad the Suns drafted Amar'e Stoudemire.

Yea but personally I would much rather have more ensure of our pick remaining at #3 rather than the Wizards pick moving up or down.

I'm thinking if the Suns don't get the Wizards pick this season it could be awhile.

Devin Booker may have 14 points but he has had a bad game and is 6-22 from the field and 0 assists.

I think they will get it this year. Only way we won't get it is if their pick is top 9. Their 5 games above the next worst teams (Milwaukee, Denver) and there's only 6 games to go. So I don't think they will somehow drop rankings much unless we get screwed at the lottery.

Went to the game. Wall played Booker really tight and then he was often double teamed in the second half. He could not seem to hit anything.

Lots of bad passing. Wow. By everyone. PJ was amazing how often he would go up in a crowd and get the rebound. He was the best Suns player out there tonight. Good grief Len misses a lot of shots he should make. You are 7-1. Dunk the ball.

Kieff played a good game. He looks a lot more athletic when he tries. I hate that guy. He got boos every time he touched the ball.

I told my wife the Suns would lead until the 4th qtr when Wash would pull ahead and win. Much of the 4th featured Budinger, Jenkins, Archie, tell and Len or Chandler. Budinger seemed to get a lot of minutes. Not impressive as a player though.

If they wanna trade him in the off season, he has to play more games and play better in those games to raise his sunk value.

I think any chance the Wizards had of keeping their draft pick this season went out the window when they beat the Suns. Even then it was slim chance entering the game. They have two games left playing against the Nets. It would be so nice if the Wizards could lose these games but that is wishful thinking.

I'm having some hope John Jenkins can remain on the Suns roster. He is not very athletic but he might be able to make it as a shooter off the bench. The thing that impresses me, he does not force plays.

Also a good locker room guy and hard worker by all accounts.
