Despite stats and the impact crowder has, I really don’t miss him

Maybe the Suns can find another ball-handler for a two-way contract.

I had to step out after the second quarter and didn't catch the rest of the game.. Looking at the box score - Why did our boy Stix only get 16 min? He was on fire in the first quarter. And both he and Biz had 4 PFs? Did Monty just stick with the vet?

It’s not Aytons offense that makes him special it’s his defense.

But his point is specifically regarding offense. A decent sized big man with any semblance of skill can look very good scoring… McGee, Kaminsky, Smith (recently) all go thru impressive scoring “stretches” and Ayton is 10x more talented. He doesn’t shoot a lot which protects his FG% but he leaves a lot of points on the floor due to lack of aggression and development of moves.

None of us expected him to be as advanced defensively as he is.

I think it was because Bismack could better handle the more physical Jonas.

Biz played physical and smart down the stretch like a veteran. It's not a knock on Stix but it took a bigger and stronger player to handle Jonas.

Yup. Needed some vet toughness to go against that horse.

Man, Jonas is a BIG boy out there.

Hopefully we get Ayton and Crowder back for the next game. If so, I think we weathered the Covid storm pretty well. I mean, we’re an incredible switching hands in mid-air mastery by Ja of going 4-1 in this stretch.

After a great 1st qtr, he was stuck in foul trouble and was out of the game due to getting his bell rung by jonas

While many of us (including me) thought that the suns were going to have to make a trade. The development of Stix and the surprising play of biyombo make that largely unnecessary

If the Suns have a need, they could use a spare ball handler in reserve (maybe on a two-way contract) and another 3-4 to handle the smaller lineups the Warriors put out there. I do have some hope for a player like Justin Jackson.

Chris Paul tells Booker he is still young and leaves when he talks about inspiring the next generation. :lmao:
