This stat is crap though. As I've said before we have had loads of huge Q4 leads.

Through Q1-3 we are 58% pass which is 16th in the league.

In Q4 we are 34% pass which is 32nd.

31st is 45%.

We have a 58/42 passing team in normal situations which is bang average. The stats are thrown off by us running games out with multiple score leads.

True. But the equalizer is that it’s an easy travel from LA.
i am truly interested to see the degree of Rams turnout

Dback vs Dodgers in Phx is 60% Dodger fans --

prior to last year, Suns / Lakers was 50/50--

those figures were high water marks based on how terrible the local teams were relative to where the LA teams were

Im influenced by the handful of LA transplants i know who are either hardcore Dodger or Laker (or both) fans -- but are kinda "meh" on the Rams

So basically if we beat the Rams and Lions we win the division right? Ram's can't overtake us.
Yes. If we beat the Rams next week, then any other win by the Cardinals or any other loss by the Rams clinches the division.

I think that’s right. We’d be up 3 games with the tiebreaker, imo ssentially being up 4 games with only 4 games left and where we win the division with a tie.
That is correct. Beat the Rams and we would need 1 loss or 1 win by the Cards to clinch the west.

Again, another week of Football, we need better play on O than last week, D has to play well and ST has to step up. No dumb penalties and sound fotball on all 3 phases. And no injuries.

If we do that we win against the Rams. Overall we need to keep walking.

Win this and we clinch probably the playoff birth.

And yes most of our stats are broken, because we don't score out the games but we run them out, which as far as I know, is the best way to do it from a statistic standpoint. First long drives mean your opponent has less time to score and you have normally lesser possibility of turnovers. And your QB gets less likely injured. So it is in theory the right move. (and additionally it may keep some weaker opponents HC jobs)

I’m expecting that Edmonds returns this week AND is a factor. I also think that Moore scores on a long play, be it a punt return, reverse, or RAC. And the Cardinals hid Ertz last week. Rams are vulnerable to TE’s, so I’m expecting he’s more valuable this week.

I hope he scores on the second half kickoff after we have put together an 8 minute touchdown drive to close out the first half.

Edmonds was definitely a big factor in last game against Rams. He had around 130 yards from scrimmage including the 50+ yard run on last drive to seal the win. Also I think K1 would be very happy to gets his BFF back on field.

I think you can only keep him on short term IR for 21 days or his done for season like Justin Murray. He is going to have to be activated this week & K2 has mentioned a few times having him back for Rams.

No, there's no maximum time for a player to stay on short-term IR. (Hence the hope that JJ Watt may return in the playoffs.) But after a three-game minimum time on IR, a player is can be designated to return to practice, and from that point the team has 21 days to decide whether the player will be returned to the active roster, or shifted to long-term IR and ineligible to play again this season.

I don't believe Edmonds has been designated to return to practice yet, but last week Kingsbury said, "it's going to be close" regarding whether he could play vs. the Rams.

I think the Rams defense is going to be on a mission to not get embarrassed again. The offensive line for the Cardinals needs to keep their heads on a swivel... They will be coming for Murray. I also expect their defensive secondary to work extra hard in hiding coverages to confuse Kyler into throwing interceptions.
I agree
I would expect to see a lot of von miller and aaron donald.
I think screens and draws will slow down the pass rush.
We have stAy aggressive on defense!!

Thanks for that. Trying to find exact rules with all different search results is a pain. That makes more sense now :)

I really don’t get all this concern about Collins. Be thankful we DON’T have to depend on him. We are 10-2 with the current mix of players.
It doesn’t mean he won’t develop. It doesn’t means he’s a bust. We can hope he develops this year and blossom next year.
Me? I’m focused on our success.

I'd care if the Cardinals were 4-8...

The Athletic article pretty well states EXACTLY what the non-Darksiders are saying about the situation.
Can’t read the article. But are you saying it doesn’t concern you that Vallejo and walker play ahead of Collins? And when I say “concern” I don’t mean it worries me for our success this season, I mean it worries me that a guy we picked in first round isn’t judged a better option 13 games into the season then JAGs by our coaching staff. The defense is playing well. We obviously don’t need Collins to be playing. So it’s not a concern from that perspective. More a “how come he’s not better than Vallejo and walker at this point?”

on one hand -- California has been the number 1 source for people moving to AZ for the last several years -- split between the LA basin and the Bay Area

while the LA group will absolutely show up for the Dodgers or the Lakers -- i just dont get the same sense regarding the Rams
I haven’t been to a Rams/Cards game in AZ for 9 years but when I did from 2004-2012 about 40-60% were Rams fans, mostly from So. Cal. And talking to family in PHX no much has changed.

I will be there myself and know about 6 or 7 other Ram fans attending as well. Going to be interesting!

I normally a little extra nervous for prime time games. Yet reading that most of the guys stay during the bye week and prepared as there was a game that Sunday speaks volume to me. Sounds like these guys are focused. Not like past bye weeks when a player gets hurt answering a phone. I feel we are the ones that should be more relaxed. The Rams mortgaged their future for today and it looks like it might bite them in the butt. Let's go Cardinals!
It’s interesting, we been mortgaging since 2014, maybe it’s a 30 year mortgage? Hope our rate is good!? Maybe time for a refinance?

This is just patently false.
