Worse owner, Sarver or Bidwill?

Which team has a worse owner, the Suns or the Cardinals?

It's not even about not making the playoffs for the Cardinals. It's about having crappy records. You can throw out playoffs and what percentage in each league make it when you have one of the teams finishing 5-11 or 4-12 year in and out.

This town was a basketball town partly BECAUSE of Bidwill and his dealings. The Suns franchise was good but a 2-3 year stretch of being bad, and making ******** moves isn't worse than 25 years of incompetence. The Suns have had their dark days and today is not close to as bad as those.

Stop overreacting.

No it wasn't. This was a basketball town because it was our first major franchise and it had been a consistent winner from early in it's existence. Bidwill put a less than satisfactory product on the field for many years and that can't be argued even by the Bidwill apologists (of which there are still a few) but we didn't love the Suns because Bidwill failed to deliver.

If your point is that the NFL was gaining in popularity nationally and if the Cards had been a good team that it would have detracted from the Suns stranglehold, well, that's a different story altogether.

This. Steve is right. It was the first major franchise, they won games and it was the ticket in town. That all happened BEFORE the Cards got here. The Cards tried to wrestle the hottest franchise in town away but were highly unsuccessful. This wasn't a basketball town because of the Cards failure. Ridiculous.

Steve

That is what I was trying to get at.
