Cardinals make the list twice, and the list for the most part is a joke.

It looks like they just took the lowest scoring games and put them on a list.

What about the multiple blowouts on Thursday Nigh Football that were over in the 1st quarter.

The Cardinals vs. Rams Thursday night game was not the best game in the world, but if it was the Steelers vs the Ravens, it would have been billed a classic defensive, hard hitting battle. But since its the Cardinals and Rams, it is a "bad game".

New age of football ladies and gentlemen, and personally, I don't like it. Just change the game into a passing skeleton drill already, so I can work on the yard on Sundays.

They got the Cards-Rams score wrong, too.

Not the only thing they got wrong:

The blame largely fell to Cardinals quarterback Ryan Lindley, who became a sympathetic figure as he stumbled through a 16-of-28 performance for 82 yards, the first touchdown pass of his career and two interceptions in his sixth NFL start.

Credibility of the author completely out the window. Just another clueless "blogger" trying to pass themselves off as a journalist.

An OBJECTIVE source saying that the team the Big Red put on the field at the end of the season had no business being on an NFL field. Really embarrassing for the NFL that a playoff game is in the bunch. I think you could have put every Big Red Game after that Rams game on the list. It was so pathetic to see an NFL team try to play without a QB when there were alternatives available. The on field performance has never been the highest priority of Bidwill teams. So what if they got details of the embarrassment wrong. Everyone in America stopped watching. If no one watched why would anyone care to take the time to accurately research the details. It doesnt change the fact that the product on the field was not NFL worthy. The NFL should call Bidwill onto the carpet over it. Other teams lose QBs but they dont put such a poor product on the field.

Wasn't Bidwills call. It was Arians' call. And other teams do lose QB's and put a poor product on the field. Also, kindly list those alternatives that were out there when Stanton went down. I'll wait. While you're looking that up, you have to keep in mind that Stanton went down in week 15 and at that time your choices were a really green rookie in Thomas and finding a QB familiar with the system in a short period of time. Throw in the fact that it was originally projected that Stanton was going to be out for a few weeks only and we have what we got. Get over your Monday morning QBing self.

What other teams had to go to their 3rd QB, and looked good doing it ?

Just wondering ?

Rams and Browns both lost two QBs this season so it is not like seeing Haley's Comet to have two QBs injured. I am not talking about looking good. I am talking about putting a product on the field that is embarrassing to the NFL. There were other options out there besides the practice squad QB of San Diego. No one made the Big Red keep a QB as its third string that could not play. Third string QBs had better be ready to play in an Arians system that exposes the QB though vertical passing. The practice squad is where you keep such a QB. Why wasnt Thomas on practice squad?

However, if you say that the Big Red were in an impossible situation then you would agree with me that the NFL needs a new rule. If a team is down to its third QB it should be required to forfeit all the remainder of its games and if qualified for playoffs not be allowed to play because obviously there is no way to overcome the injuries. Fans should not have to turn on the playoffs thinking they are seeing the best of the best to find a turd on national TV.

I think at the beginning of the season there needs to be a poll taken of what is going to be the excuse this year for not winning. Other teams adapt. NE was handed its a$$ by KC early in the year prompting trade rumors of Brady. They adapted and overcame. That is what franchises do that win many Super Bowls.

I don't see the difference ? Isn't an embarrassment the same as not looking good ?

1. Who were the other options ?

2. Who are these 3rd string QB's on other teams that are "ready to play" ?

I don't think that is really a rational idea. I think the NFL would continue to televise the game, and it would be up to the fan if he wants to watch it or not.

Furthermore this is a business, so I doubt the Cardinals would go along with forfeiting games.

As for a turd of a football game, yes, the skill level was not good in that game but Carolina (who has NO excuse) looked pretty bad itself. As for embarrassing playoff games, for Pete's sake, how many blowouts have there been over the years where the game was over in the 1st quarter. Those games are better ? The Patriots Colts game was a "good game" ?

Other teams adapt. NE was handed its a$$ by KC early in the year prompting trade rumors of Brady. They adapted and overcame. That is what franchises do that win many Super Bowls.

How did they adapt ? Because the media made a big deal about New England was 2-2 after week 4 ? That rhetoric last 3 whole days, the media humped the leg of that story for the rest of the season.

By adapt do you mean play better ? The Patriots had Brady and most of their starters healthy all year long, where did they adapt ?

The Cardinals had more injuries than you can shake a stick at, the head coach and defensive coordinator where voted coaches of the year by the entire football community for how the team adapted from injury after injury. Don't agree ? Take it up with the NFL brass.

Sorry, just don't see the validity in any of this.
