Considering that I left the room after the TD was ruled official... I agree, Springsteen is overrated.

The question is... do I go back to watching the game? The obvious answer is yes, but it hurts.

How many useless guitarists does one band need? Prince was still worse though. Ugh...

Blasphemy. Prince was awesome. Best act they've had post-boob incident.
To each their own, but I thought he really butchered a classic. That and his music is totally overrated, but he can sure play guitar when he wants to.

I don't know, it had it's comedic moments:

1) Springsteen bending backwards on his knees at the beginning of the set. I thought he'd thrown his back out and got stuck.

2) His slide went long and he jammed his crotch shadow-deep in the camera. I don't know why a little nipple gets everyone hot and bothered but that got a free pass. I now know more about the Boss' junk then the Boss' wife.

I've never understood the awe some people have for the man.

Journey, OMW, that was horrendous, I just hate bands who move on replacing lead singers who are rediculously unique.

I mean you can't replace Steve Perry any more than you could replace Freddy Mercury so just be done with it already.

All of these Super Bowl halftime shows are pretty lame. Im sick of the whole Rock'n'roll mummies theme, its lame.

I'd much rather see halftime done like the Olympics opening ceremonies, I can see a concert any old time, theres nothing interesting about it.

Bruce is known as "The Boss"...so I guess he was giving himself a shout out??

Tried to miss most of the halftime show. I can't stand Springsteen and the E Street Band. Never have liked them. Never will. Seems those halftimes are for the non fans.

Bruce on lp is great, Bruce before he was 100 yrs old live was great but he was terrible live at his age, I thought Tom Petty was weak. Great musicians in their genre but damn...age is a factor in a performance and old farts sucking air is hard to watch...the mighty Mic Jagger was pathetic at his age...Prince though, I thought was great and I like hard rock
