The clock management with 1:15 left was horrible. Wasting 18 to 20 seconds between plays and then burning the final timeout - negating a running play for the win in regulation? That's it in my book.

Not blasting BJ. Blasting the coach for not getting the ball to Fitz instead. Fitz would have made the catch. Assured of this.

Also need to add Morey for not being able to outrun everyone.

If you can rewatch that play.

I was yelling for it to go to Johnson, and I think rightfully so. The 9ers had overloaded the side Fitz was on with 3 db's. Johnson was one on one. The db just made a great play. If Kurt had gone the other way it might have been picked, game over.

BTW - The 27 yarder was right down the middle, not just barely made.

I vote for either the no sense of urgency the ENTIRE last drive, or throwing 4 straight times with 5:00 left, or Breaston's boneheaded blunder, or not feeding Edge more before the kick, or the decision to pass out of your own endzone when you have a QB who is known for holding it too long and fumbling.

Clock management or I should say mismanagement is another thing, like special teams play, that the Cards have had problems with for years.

Remember the fiasco at the end of the Rams game at SDS in 2005? Guess who was playing QB at the time?

I also noted that the false start problems began when Kurt Warner started playing QB. I think there's something wrong with his cadence.

I just rewatched that and the 27 yarder was right down the middle. I don't know where the "he barely made it" comes from. It just make the coach bashing alittle easier I guess.

I thought they did not have a choice on the timeout. The Ref rulled the catch in bounds and the clock started running so we had to use a timeout. Then after the timeout they review the play what B.S

I agree with the announcer if you watch the replay the only reason Breaston isn't tackled immeidately is the block in the back. Patrick made a dumb play but if he didn't do it, we're still on the 2 yard line because of Breaston.

Whiz should NOT have let Kurt throw from his endzone, you know the guys history of fumbling and taking sacks, run the ball get some room. AS soon as he dropped back I knew the game was over.

I watched that ending again and Breaston juked the guy hard for him to miss and Patrick doesn't even need to block him. Instead he drills him right in the back and right in front off the Ref. Also in Breaston's defense he almost broke the last two punts.
