I can just see the pitch meeting for this crapfest. "Let's take a franchise where the storyline has been resolved and it should be finished, but take it in a new direction with no ties to the first two!"

I'd also recommend Alien 3.

now there is a classic... A sequel to a horrendous first... Very funny.. I went to school with Michael Chambers, a.k.a. bogaloo shrimp - Turbo in that original movie... A few others went to my school also which was the only reason I watched it... I was kind of shocked to hear that it did okay...

totally agree. It didn't even make sense! When they made Highlander III, they made it as a sequel to Highlander...completely skipping II.

I'll have to say "Revenge of the Jedi". I've never forgiven Lucas for the ewoks. Teddy Bears destroying the military force that conquered the entire galaxy. Yeah, right. All capped off by repeating the ending of the first movie.

I've never seen a Star Wars movie since.
