Would you feel comfortable with Tracy at 1st?

Moreso than with CoJack (at first he would rarely have to throw), but overall...no.

If it would mean getting a good pitcher, hell yeah. He's no worse than CoJack and can hit just as well so yeah, not a problem...

And he's a lefty bat, which we need in the lineup.

And he's not lackadaisical in the field as Conor is.

And Reynolds would play full-time at 3B (and turn into our best power hitter, if the coaching staff doesn't have him swinging for the fences on every pitch).

And, as you said, if it brings us a starting pitcher.

But I will miss Tony Clark (and so will the young players).

Assuming relatively good health, sure. He's already put up better offensive numbers than CoJack (though some think Jackson has the potential to be better) and he's slightly better defensively (though thats not saying much). If Jackson is the difference between getting a player like Haren or not, I'll drive CoJack to the airport myself.

Yes as long as they get at least a #2 pitcher out of the deal.

Jackson is nearly a better player than Tracy in every aspect. Tracy gets a slight edge with the glove at 1B. That's it. AI'm not saying CoJack is a great player bt I would much rather have him on the roster than Tracy. He sucks

Tracy has zero upside. He's reached his peak in terms of the player he's gonna be. With him, what you see is what you get.

With Jackson, you get a player that still has some upside, is nowhere close to being finished and really showed improvement as the season progressed. I would argue that Cojack was Arizona's best hitter in the second half of the season.

If your asking me Jackson or Tracy, I take Jackson and don't think twice about it.

Yeah. I want Reynolds playing full time. We need offense, and Reynolds is an offensive threat. As stated earlier, it would be good to have Tracy in the lineup because he is a lefty batter.

Jackson's the better player, no doubt with more upside. That is why he's in the trade talks.
