Good joke. Huff is not that great and Darling would be a nice utility guy to have.

Not after his achilles injury. Not a first rounder.

Unless No9lan hates him I really doubt he will be given up for less than a 1st; much less to a division rival.

Are they seriously thinking about trading him? Even if they are, in-division trades are so rare.

I guess a second round pick would be an acceptable risk.

Huff isnt bad. He is more than adequate. Adequate enough to the point it aint worth going after a guy that is coming off major injury and giving up a 1st rounder.

Boldin just came off a big injury and we gave him a huge contract. Peterson is probably the best OLB in the NFL. If you wouldn't give up a first rounder for that you're crazy.

An MCL tear is minor compared to an Achilles rupture. Remember, Jamir Miller was never the same after his achilles tear. He never played at a high level again. In fact, I just remembered that and I now pull my offer of a second rounder.

Oh my, I'm having an ASFN Flashback...

"Why would anyone want Randy Moss when we have his athletic equal in Kevin Kasper!!"

The Cards first round pick for the 49er's Julian Peterson?
I wouldn't even consider it until we know if Peterson is 100% healthy.

But even if he is healthy I still wouldn't do it, because Dansby and Blackstock are both Peterson clones, so why trade for a quality player at a position where you already got one quality player a one potential quality player?

I would however trade for a player of Peterson's caliber if he was a great fit and an upgrade to the team ( e.g. Bulluck to replace Huff or Urlacher to replace Hayes)

Peterson is good. He's really good. But the best OLB in the NFL? That's going pretty far, since he hasn't played in a real game since his injury.

This isn't Madden, guys--injuries linger in the real world. Sam Cowart was never the same after his achillies tear.

Assuming he's totally healthy (and that's a crucial question), I still wouldn't give up a top draft pick. I might, however, consider a package consisting of one of our LB's (not Dansby) and a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

Keith Brooking. LeVar Arrington. Derrick Brooks. Joey Porter.

This is a joke I watch most of the Skins games and LrVar isn't near the best OLBs in the game, I watch Porter every game and he is really good; just not as goood as Peterson. Brooks probably and Brooking maybe. Its funny that you K9 should say "this isn't Madden, guys".
