First off, the Chiefs are transitioning as a team. They are getting off big contracts, and getting their guys. The Chiefs have Justin Houston and drafted Dee Ford. Hali is sched to be a free agent next offseason. Andy Reid likes drafts picks.

How much would you give up considering his age (30), and that he may not be re-signable in the offseason. 1st? 2nd? 3rd?

Nope there is a reason they drafted Dee Ford and I like Hali but he is on the down side. Now before the suspension I would of given up a second in a great breast for a young Dion Jordan

I had not seen the news on Justin Houston, so I think you are correct in his price being elevated.

Hard to find any team that would be willing to trade a pass rusher.

but, I agree. the pass rush is as abysmal as I can ever remember it being. if they just had ONE legit guy off the edge who could bring the heat, the D (which has been solid so far) could be pretty good.

It is really bad. Kaiser is our best pass rusher and he was a roster cut from a difference team.

I don't like the idea of overpaying for an edge pressence, but I think we all can agree that we will only go so far with this pass rush.

Hali? I have no idea. My guess is that the Chiefs would take a 2nd for him, maybe a 3rd. The market is bare for pass rushers, and the Chiefs would have the leverage. I'm just curious what people would be willing to give up for a legit pass rusher who MAY be available due to a roster transition.
