Something close to this is actually one of my conspiracy theories. I believe OBJ is actually gay, and him pretending he is not and having to hide who he really is is one of the reasons for his erratic behavior over the recent years. No evidence to prove this, but reading the tea leaves and equating it to people who I have known that have wrestled with "coming out".

it’s pretty obvious. I’ve actually heard rumors of Fitzgerald coming out when he retires.
