Bill Williamson, of the Pioneer Press, reports Minnesota Vikings owner Red McCombs has been hinting that relocating the team could be as, or even more, viable as selling the team. When asked if the Vikings would play in Minnesota this season, McCombs simply said, “We’re here today.” He remains pessimistic that a new stadium deal will be approved by the state this year. Their current lease with the Metrodome runs through 2011.
