I really hope so, but we made the Raiders look like SuperBowl contenders. Brett Favre is a Pro Bowler again.

This week's sign that Brett Favre is not dead: His second and third wideouts against Arizona were Ruvell Martin and Chris Francies, and the Pack put up 31 points.

4-12...and these sad sacks still managed to make me look like a Kool Aid addict.

My prediction had been 8-8 and that this was a transitional year for the Cards. Didn't think we'd be transitioning backwards. I'm a little frightened of the draft. I don't think this is a BPA year for us, and I'm worried about drafting a need with a higher pick than warranted at a truly high price.

Another thought. What was it that happened in Carolina in 2003 that allowed them to start 1-7 and finish 7-9? Were they suffering from a lot of first half injuries? I remember them doing it, just not the specifics.

The Cards always seem to play one or two levels below their competition. If the Cards have a chance to win, it wont be vs. the teams that we should beat. It will be against a team like the Bears.

The worst part for me is that following the loss to the Bears, the team has obviously quit. The effort is seriously lacking, and that is inexcusable. To compound my frustration, this team is still in this thing if they only gave a crap. I mean, they're only 3 games out with half of the season left. STL and SF are average, and SEA is without it's starting QB and RB. Too bad they've laid down.

Denny, please get out of my life.

I thought this team would push for a playoff spot.:bang:

If we really have talented players, I grossly underestimated the need for great coaching. :help:
