That article is jaw dropping; did he even watch the game yesterday? I certainly don't think he watched the same game as I did.

I'm surprised they even wasted webspace on that bitter garbage.

Perloff is a tool. He's incapable of writing anything without slamming somebody. Unfortunately, that's what passes for sports journalism much of the time. Say something controversial, and get attention. That "Book the Eagles for Tampa" article that got so much hate here? A success, as far as ESPN is concerned. People talked about it, people posted about it, and it generated a ton of hits for their website. Making ******* statements to get clicks is a revenue generator, so we see lots of this stuff.

Peter King is apparently unhappy that there was so much talk about Warner by the tv folks. The sad thing is, he has one of the 44 votes for players to get into the HOF. He was one of the loudest opponents to Art Monk getting in and he has the nerve to say that Warner shouldn't get in because he doesn't have enough longevity.

Monk had the numbers, the rings and the longevity.

Of course, in the article he states that if Warner wins the Super Bowl this year, the MVP next year and the Super Bowl again next year he might reconsider voting for Warner. 3 MVPs and 3 Super Bowl wins is all it takes to get in the HOF now. I guess Peyton won't be getting King's vote cuz I don't see him winning two more SB's.

King was probably one of the *******'s that voted for Peyton to win the MVP this year though.

He did have one solid point number 7:
7. All sports need to stop voting for MVP before the playoffs. The NFL should force Peyton Manning to give his trophy to Larry Fitzgerald.
