Happy with his play but remembering that he played 3rd string in the first preseason game.

In short he SHOULD have looked good.

Agreed, but I can't recall any of our 3rd string QBs ever looking THAT good against another 3rd string. Man, he throws a nice ball.

No but the others sucked.......also Huston isnt exactly a powerhouse.

Hard to believe that this time last year Houston was considered one of the top teams in the AFC with a legit shot at the Super Bowl.

With ****zpatrick as their QB, the Texans aren't going to do much this year.

I think it's even more impressive that Logan's performance hasn't started a QB controversy. Normally some of us would be yelling for a new starter as soon as a backup completed two passes in a row.

I'd hold off on having his kids, but he sure was not terrible.

The QB controversy for next year has begun.

There will only be a controversy, if CP doesn't have the type of year that we think he's going to have. Sitting behind CP for two years, makes me think of Aaron Rodgers. I can dream, can't I?

Well, if CP re-signs in 2015, it will be for more than 1-year.

No doubt.... But, man Palmer looked so good too. So calm, poised and totally in control. And his throws were things of beauty.
Stanton looked the worst of the bunch last night...

A good start to the young man's career. Got better as he went along, showed good composure. Rifle arm. Played as a pocket passer first, runner second.

On that final play, as he was on the run, I was like here is where the good new breed QB's finds someone in the endzone... and bam, beautiful play.

Of course on ESPN, Manziel gets all the coverage, then they only show Watt and Clowney. You'd almost thought the Browns and Texans won, and that Manziel had a great night. Looked flighty, going to run himself into injury, and showed checkdown tendencies. ESPN should of treated their audience to what Logan did instead.

Kid looked like the real deal tonight, I'd like to see him do it against the 2's and maybe even start game 4. We know what Stanton can do.

I thought Manziel played well, but NO rookie QB played as well as LT did. Although it's very early, you have to love what we saw last night from LT!!

I didn't like this pick, but I was thrilled with his play tonight. Gawd, I'd love this kid to make me look like a a ******* and continue to play great.

I loved the pick:) & feel a tad bit vindicated. Way too early though. The knock on LT was his inconsistency. Let's see how he does the next time around

Right there with you. I have liked this pick from pretty much the moment the pick was made. Though I agree that it is still too early to make any sort of final prediction on LT's development.

How quickly we forget the Max Hall effect.

Logan Thomas looked great against guys who won't be in the NFL in a couple of weeks. He has a long long way to go before he is ready for a real NFL game.

Still it was a very nice performance by the rookie!

Max Hall UDFA, with the noodle arm, is hardly a fair comparison - imo.

This right here.

But you have to think that LT has way more talent to start with than someone like Max Hall.

And rookies usually struggle with learning their reads and LT was going through them last night. I was watching his eyes. He had one vet play where he stared down a WR and the last second turned his head to the opposite side of the field and threw a strike.

Still a long ways to go, but a good start

Did Lindley ever have a game that good even in pre-season?
They should cut Lindley today and give him a better chance to catch on somewhere else.
