Big surprise. Wheelwright is a class of 2011 guard, he's 6' and right now is learning to play PG, he's more of a natural SG but too small. The wow is this came out of nowhere, Wheelwright was just at UCLA's elite camp, attended the vastly scaled down USC camp(because of the coaching change).
UCLA loves Wheelwright but weren't ready to offer, USC was, and he accepted.
Looks like UCLA might now focus on Stephen Holt who some had rated higher than Wheelwright but right now it's unclear how high UCLA is on Holt he's a recent bloomer that they really haven't seen much of with the new rules restricting when coaches can see players.
Gotta hand it to KO, I did not see that one coming, Wheelwright said he wasn't concerned about sanctions over Mayo because they would be done by the time he got there.
