If we remain at #10, I'm in the trade down group for Ridley. Pick up another 2nd and hope someone like Allen or Rudolph drops. This team needs more than a QBOF that won't play for a couple years. Give me Ridley, QBOF and either a CB or OL in the first two rounds to start the rebuild. Spend FA money on somebody like DeMarcus Lawrence and Bryan Bulaga (if released).

You do not hope or wait when you identify your quarterback of the future, especially when you get past all the hype and realize there are probably two or only one in your franchise's opinion. You move up and get your guy... this wait and see crap stops now if this team wants to win!

Was reading yesterday that the Cardinals and John Brown have pretty much agreed to move on. Brown has been disgruntled with the coaches for quite some time...which was exacerbated in the pre-season when BA called out the WR group and insinuated that the injured WRs should be practicing...which the caused John Brown to say that he would return to field "when I am ready."

The main reason why he is still on the roster is the compensatory pick consideration should Brown ink a good contract elsewhere.

This once again does not speak well for the coaches. Michael Floyd last year. John Brown this year. J.J. Nelson has regressed to the point where he is a liability on the field. Floyd and Brown were 1st and 3rd round picks respectively. In Brown's case, his sickle cell anemia was and continues to be a major setback, but other NFL players have been able to cope with the disease and still play at a fairly high level. But, clearly, BA's and his staff's philosophy of f-bomb you now, hug you later is not working with players like Michael Floyd, John Brown and J.J. Nelson.
Yes, because Michael DUI Floyd is tearing it up for the Vikings...hahahahaha

Maybe the reason guys like Floyd and John Brown have issues is because the they are inconsistent on the field...injuries and DUIs not withstanding.

Christian Kirk. Todd Graham didn't want him, hopefully the Cardinals do.

Some serious passion in those words

I think you got that backwards. Graham put the full court press on Kirk but Sumlin reached in to AZ and took him away from ASU. Kirk is arguably the most significant in state recruit in the Graham era to leave ARZ IMO.

I brought up a name in another post which I think relates to Landry well and that is Frank Sanders, a solid starting WR who can be a playmaker because he knows his responsibilities and is clutch... like Fitz he brings dependability to the position

I loved me some Frank Sanders. Dude was as clutch as it came.

There are some interesting names if they don’t get extended or have tenders placed on them.

Sammy Watkins
Marqise Lee
Jordan Matthews
Paul Richardson
DeVante Adams
Jeff Janis

If ARZ doesn’t sign a big money QB then I hope they use the money to sign a QB, 2 ILB’s & a WR from the list above (they can probably get one for a reasonable deal). Draft a QB, OT, CB, WR OG & DL and that should fill our big needs. I would rotate Jones/Golden/Reddick at OLB to keep them fresh throughout the game.

I like it all except the draft part. drafting only needed positions get you Levi brown instead of AP. It's fill your needs out in free agency and draft the best players available. With the only exception being a QB, you may have to reach for one of those.imo

You don't draft for need, but you do draft with need in mind. If you have David Johnson and Adrian Peterson, you don't spend the 10th overall pick on an RB. You might pick the 2nd or 3rd best OL because there's a hole there.

And that I'm is a recipe for disaster. I take that stud RB before I reach for the third best anything at 10. You can always trade AP or just cut him if your stud turns out to be a stud.

Well, first off, I don't think he was talking about drafting at 10... that's a little different. My argument regardless though is that having a logjam at one position and a gaping void at another isn't going to translate into wins. Can't run the ball with those running backs if my buddy Jim at the bar down the street is playing left guard.

I get what you're saying. I'm not saying need doesn't play a part. I guess I was reading op to say draft these positions in this order. But either way imo you go into the draft looking for certain positions causes you to reach, and that is not a good idea in my book.
