WR Jake Kumerow stands out early at Packers training camp

While receiver Jake Kumerow might have been one of the bigger longshots to make the Green Bay Packers’ roster entering training camp, the former Wisconsin-Whitewater star has made the most of his opportunities during the first two practices of the summer. He was especially impressive during Friday’s practice, the final look before the pads come on Saturday. Kumerow’s head coach didn’t sound all that surprised. In fact, Mike McCarthy said he saw the same kind of production during OTAs and minicamp. “He’s really stood out throughout the spring.
