Another habitual NFL criminal. Has not ripped anybody off yet or hit-and-run but he will. Just a matter of time. Smart move by the Jaguars.

Arkansas always has coddled players and covered for them. It's only a matter of time before McFadden and his posse in Oakland get into trouble.

Jerry Jones and company?! Noooooooo?! :sarcasm:

Not just them. It's rampant all over. Esp. in the SE though.

Remember SMU back when. And now Florida State is in big trouble. They're probably taking away wins from Bobby Bowden.

use him as a spot player. TE, QB, or WR..confuse the defense...also he could hook up old man kurt with some blow so he's a little quicker in the pocket

You're not suggesting that Jacksonville would be set at WR if only Matt Jones had stayed on the straight and narrow? :)

:) Ha Ha! If we let Q go, I would feel much better if it were to an AFC team, and now at least one of them is in need. If we half to lose Q and it ended up being to Jacksonville, well, I would have to thank Matt Jones for being a waste.

I think Matt Jones has been living on borrowed time since coming to the NFL. His personal life aside, he's a conversion guy that was never really supposed to make it anyway.

I don't want to comment too much on his drug problems and such because I know that can be tough to kick even when one wants to do so. Hopefully he can get himself straightened out.

Yup. Combine all-star with no true position. His drug issues only sped up the process. Very disappointing that he had to go out like this.

the book on Matt Jones, convictions aside: he is not really into football. could be good at it, but its just a job he shows up to.
