I don't care how bad a call is, when you get a technical, you shut your mouth and you don't even look at the ref, let alone keep talking. I like intentional technical fouls- sometimes they can change the game. But once you make your point, you shut the hell up!

It's called rolling with the punches. Amare has yet to grasp that concept and keeps getting knocked out.

You cant win an argument against the ref, especially if you yell at them.

His constant yelling of "and 1" and sometimes essentially barking at refs hasnt worked yet, but he continues to do it.

Then complain to the media that you get treated like tupac. Yeah, thats really going to sway the argument in your favor...


The ejection was ****ed up, but there were 8000 different ways Amare could have avoided it.

Ever try to play fair with a cheater or someone who is corrupt and you catch them? How well does that go when they have more authority over you. Amare is not the cancer here. Stern is.

Some will not accept corruption. Until Stern proves otherwise he is as corrupt as some movie villians.

You guys have no idea what Amare said to the ref. I can think of a few things that a hotheaded Amare could say to an official to get double tech'd and booted.

Maybe he said something about the ref's **** ******
or mentioned something about ********* **** *********
it could have been something like ******* in the ***** with his ******* and that wont be tolerated
if he brought up the ref's daughter's ****** ****** and how he ****** **** last night, that would surely warrant the boot
I wont even go into the ********** ******* while ******* ***** territory, but I doubt Amare took it that far.

Obviously Coro couldn't elaborate, but in his View from Press Row:

As some like to say, i like to oversimplify things(i say many issues get over-anylized) so i'll say this:
The first step for Amare to gain some much needed respect from the zebras is to Stop yelling "AND ONE!" to the official's every single time he goes to the basket in traffic.......and stop bitching about it the next couple times down the court when its not always called.
Amare....the officials do not like this. Many of them take it as a personal attack on their fragile ego's and thus feel "shown up." Don't do it.

OMG! We agree that Stern sucks. We agree Amare doesn't get the calls. We agree that foul and the first technical were not legit.

The point is that Amare is not hurting Stern, but his own team. Stern couldn't care less if Amare got ejected from every single game. Amare's team, however, would suffer.

Ok. And that is my point.
Maybe it is not the idiot refs but Stern who is doing this. If so he needs to be exposed.

I agree the "And 1's" need to stop. But if that is their pet peeve they should tell Amare to stop that or get T'd for it.
But I think it is personal.
Amare has had some family hardships and kept out of trouble himself so WTF does Stern have against him, he's not a criminal? If it is just the fraternity of refs that have a problem with Amare then they need to come out and say what it is because they are not doing their job in a professional, ethical manner and should be dealt with...which is also Stern's responsibility.

If Stern could care less that someone is being treated unfairly then he needs to know the integrity of the game is more important than his or their agenda or be removed/overthrown. Colangelo please take over.

Exhibit A: Leaving the bench has a no room for interpretation so Amare and Diaw suspensions were justified...What about when Duncan got off the bench in the same game when players got tangled up? but there was no 'altercation'. Was Duncan just stretching his legs? Why was he up out of his seat and on the court? ...please. Put all the lipstick you want on a pig's ass like Stern but **** is still all that will come out.

Bottom line______________If (yeah right) Stern is corrupt, then NBA is an entertainment fraud(mega lawsuits)

At least with the WWE or the Globetrotters, people aren't really misled to believe it's 100% real.

I will not.I really agree with most of what you say, but IMO the problem is not Amare. It is the unfairness that is going on involving him. So I blame Stern until further notice.

Yea the refs call some BS calls but that doesn't mean they are against him. Survival of the fittest if he isn't going to adapt to the refs calls he isn't going to play simple as that. He isn't going to expose the refs by doing the same things over and over and getting the same calls. If he stops doing them and still gets bs calls then they are somewhat exposed to be after him. He also can't do this alone and Porter needs to step in and talk to the refs. Especially when your best player gets kicked out he, I didn't even see him go to the ref but popovich would have been there before the ref could have blown his whistle if it was Duncan getting a technical especially for a call like that.
