xbox 360 question

I just bought a used 360, 1 mo. old. It's the Arcade model. Should I be concerned? Also, curious about low-budget suggestions for storage, since I want to use it as a media server. Already watch Netflix movies and they look great even with my mediocre wifi connection.

USB sticks work but have a 16GB maximum limitation (although you can use two for a total of 32GB). If you want more space than that, you have to buy the xbox hard drive.
