This team needs a shot in the arm from somewhere. Hopefully he's learned some things.

The way we’re hitting we might as well bring him back up. Literally nothing to lose

he's slugging .350 in a very hitter friendly PCL. he has probably just accepted his fate and will collect his fat paychecks in reno giving half effort

Diamondbacks say slumping Yasmany Tomas working hard in minors
OAKLAND – Demoted to the minors and removed from the 40-man roster, outfielder Yasmany Tomas hasn’t hit well so far with Triple-A Reno. He entered Saturday with just a .245 average and two home runs in 41 games.

Diamondbacks farm director Mike Bell knows what most probably assume is happening, that Tomas is discouraged and has a bad attitude about being in Reno. But Bell says that isn’t the case.

“With everything he’s gone through in his short career to this point, it’d be easy for him to do all those things,” Bell said. “I think people probably expect that. But it couldn’t be further from the truth.”
