Just read that the Cards "ponied-up" a mill to install "new" turf in Flagstaff. To me, this is just another "sign" that the "current" Cards are serious about winning and are changing things for the better. ...And with draft excitement building day-by-day it's GREAT to be a CARDS fan. It's FUN to read everyone's opinions as to what we should do. Personally, I want a speed, Home-run threat, RB in the 1st. "SPEED" changes EVERYTHING!! One other thought: I am very pleased w/ the players we added in free agency. Quite a few "quality" pick-ups added to the roster and I see a definite up-grade in depth/talent.

I "agree", however "I" have to "wonder" if this was more of a "proactive" move to "protect" players from that terrible "turf"

Man that "turf" was "terrible". Remember "Marcel's" "injury"? Yikes.

"Too" bad "too", because I "think" he would have "really" had a breakout "season" that year

It is also more "proof" that one cannot "compare" the pre-stadium "Cards" to th"e post"-"stadium Car"ds at all. Why are we using so many quotation marks?

Notorious BIG was wrong. The more money you got, the more problems you can fix.

"Speed" KILLS. Period. (...or, maybe a semi-"colon." No, on second thought: "PERIOD."

"I" "believe" that they are doing "this" "in part" because "they" don't want to build an indoor facility in the metro Phoenix area.

"NeverSayDieFan's" use of "quotations" is only "trumped" by his "sense of humor". ;)

Yes, but saying

Another "winning" move

implies that the move was not in fact, a winning move. It denotes sarcasm in the statement. Or that the word you are using doesn't really mean what you are saying, and instead just the opposite.

So using them for "dramatic" effect really isn't doing what you want it to.
