My favorite game is probably the one with the Eagles......the lateral back to Warner to Fitz had me the most excited I've probably ever been at that point in my life.

My favorite moment is 2:37 left in the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl. I still remember the look my wife and I gave each other in disbelief.

My top 5 moments of Last season.

5. DRC getting his 6th interception to make good on his preseason promise to me (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IMLwsAKA84)

4. Home game vs Rams, NFC West clincher, Bertrand Berry throwing his helmet a mile high in the air haha.

3. Cowboys game, blocked punt, the look on Cowboys fans faces was priceless.

2. Fitz's playoff dominance, and the way he carried himself on and off the field during the playoffs, great representative of our state and team.

1. Hightower's touchdown and all events after that that day. "When noone else believed in us, when noone else believed in me, YOU guys did, AND WE'RE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL"

great day, great season, bring on 2009.

Right there with you O. I'm still a little shell shocked from that moment. Talk about a kid in a candy store...

When we beat the Cowboys. It was a magical season with lots of high points, no doubt, but that win against the cowboys was the biggest moment of the year imo.

Getting to see the Cards play in person for 13 games was great.

2 preseason, 8 regular season, 2 home playoff games, and the Super Bowl.

Best game/moment - has to be attending the SB. Amazing. We were so close!

Another vote for the NFC Championship. Honorable mention to the MNF game vs the 49ers.

It became more magical each week, but I swear to my whole existence, Fitz scoring that touchdown was the highest moment I have ever experienced as a Cardinal fan. It literally was like touching the hand of God. I still get choked up thinking about it.

Cowboys game. When u can beat the felons and there fans its a HUGE win. Plus, the way Dallas had been rolling at that point gave the Cards the confidence they needed they could beat anyone.

Yep, the blocked punt for a TD in OT was the play of the SEASON for the Cards. It went from "same old Cards, choked a big game" to "hey, this is our year" in a few seconds.

But, personally, the Fitz TD in the Super Bowl brought more joy than any other moment of the season.

Larry's big touchdown in the SB.

Exactly. I was jumping around grabbing everyone. Then the last drive. :(

I couldn't believe the end of the first half either. A bazaaro finish to both halves.

On a happier note, Tim HT's 4th down sweep to the outside keeping THE DRIVE alive after giving up the lead to the Eagles. :newcards:

I can't top that list. I'll add, I'll never forget Fitz's reaction after the Hightower TD in that Eagles game.

I agree that play somehow made the final outcome far far less painful. I collapsed when the play happened. Seeing Fitz run to daylight, priceless sports moment.

Being there, in that stadium, to beat the Eagles will stay with me forever. I don't think any of us wanted to leave that night.

Raining confetti -- and seeing the faces of all those wonderful players who had EARNED a trip to the Super Bowl. And Michael Bidwill, and the coaches.

While the fans who had assured me that an all Pennsylvania Super Bowl was destiny -- evaporated in a puff of smoke.

5. Spach's first down catch to seal away the game against the Falcons.

4. Fitzgerald's Flea Flicker TD against the Falcons.

3. Hightower's Touchdown against the Eagles.

2. Blocked punt for TD against the Cowboys. Was in Vegas at the time and the sport books were going insane with people cheering and dying.

1. Fitz's Touchdown run in the SB. The joy I felt really can't be described.

As much as I loved Larry's running for the SB touchdown, for me it was the blocked punt in the Cowboy's game. At that moment I absolutely knew this team was special and that we were going to the Super Bowl.

1. And it is not even close, the blocked punt against the Cowboys. To quote my wife, "He jumped out of his chair screaming, dancing throughout the house, out the door and on into night." And that is 100% true. I still watch the clip and get goosebumps.

I stated this before the 2008 season and I still stand by it:
http://www.arizonasportsfans.com/vb/showpost.php?p=1778207&postcount=1

It was great to go to the playoffs, and Superbowl. But the win against the Cowboys was by far the my favorite thing that happened. The season was a success the minute Beisel landed on that football. The fact it started the decline of the Cowboys season? Bonus. I am excited just typing this out.

2. Fitzgerald's (one of many) leaping TD catch against Seattle at home over Marcus Trufant. Why? Cause I was six rows back watching it live at U.O.P. Stadium. I remember watching the ball come up out of no where behind the tall trees that are the offensive line, and then saying "Uh Oh, that is a little too far away." Then 'boing' Fitzgerald jumps about 45 feet in the air and plucks it out of the sky. Amazing to see that happen about 15 feet in front of you.

Bonus: After the catch Fitzgerald did his usual jump off the ground, toss the ball to the ref. BUT, Trufant spun around in frustration (poor guy didn't have a chance cause he was in great coverage) and for a second was staring up at the stands. Giving the fans and myself a chance to "lay into him a little bit". FUN !!!! :D Definitely, more fun telling a player he sucks to his face live then at the TV screen. LOL!

3. Fitzgerald made a lot of great catches last year. My #1 catch that I still can't believe is one of the last three catches in the Cowboys game. He catch a ball along the side line, and his body was at like a 30 degree angle to the ground. My wife and I looked at each other and said "No way he caught that". And yet he did. Jason Whitlock of Foxsports stated that, the three catches Fitzgerald made at the end of that game was probably the best performance he had ever seen. I agree, and that catch was unbelievable.

4. Fitzgerald, yet again. I pick his most popular catch. This would be the catch versus the Panthers in the playoffs. Double covered, leaping in the air, bobbles the ball in mid air, still catches it.

Why? Because for years, I have been telling friends and family that our team was going to be good this year. Of course getting the standard :doi: "You said that last year and the year before."

Well after this catch whenever I talked to people they were all like: "Wow, did you see that guy Fitzgerald ? He is amazing. I can't believe what a great game he had. Your team looks really good, when did this happen. Oh, they are really fun to watch."

I never said I told you so. I told them I had been trying to tell you to catch Cardinals game on TV cause I knew you would enjoy it. And then go on to talk Cardinals football, and not have it be a pity party. I had been waiting for years to do that. Especially when it came to talking football with the old man. That was really enjoyable.

5. Finally, look at my signature. Adrian Wilson's quote more specifically. I did just that. It was painful to watch the game at certain points, but I am damn proud of this team, organization, and its fans. What an amazing season to have the pleasure of watching, and living through. For the many years of being a huge football fan, and struggling through some really tough season to watch, this was a sweet season that was a pleasure to watch.
