this isnt a BAD team.

what would you call a team that has lost FIVE straight games, two of them blowouts on the road and three home games? FIVE STRAIGHT LOSSES.

we SHOULD be 4-2 or 3-3, which is respectable.

actually, seeing how we close home games out, it actually seems like we SHOULD BE 0-6 - hell, seeing how this team plays fourth quarters, we shoudl be thanking our lucky stars that the Niners DIDN'T complete that last play and take us into OT and beat us. We shouldn't be 4-2 or 3-3 - when you can't get a first down int he fourth quarter, you don't deserve to win football games.

I voted 8-8 we will battle back and win some games! Think last nights game let them know they can compete with anyone! Just need to learn to put a team away quit the conservative play calling think that problem may have been solved with the firing of Rowen today!

7-9, but that wasn't an option. Would have been 8-8 or better if we had won last night.

6-10 if they can beat the bad teams left on the schedule.

The reason everyone is so down over this loss, is because we're SOOOOO close to being one of the better teams in the league. We dominated the best team in the league for 3 quarters on monday And that's with a rookie QB AND without our arguably best player (Fitz).

It all depends how the team reacts on sunday in Oakland, but if the team steps up, then 7-9 or 8-8 is a posibility.

That's darkside juice you drink again, Cheese. I would call that a team that is close to winning but hasn't learned how to do it yet. It's a team with a lot of the pieces there, but missing some key ones on the OL.

Seattle wasn't a blowout.

Atlanta wasn't a blowout until late in the third when a washed up QB gave up a pick six down five points, then put the ball on the turf on the next possession and the D gave up.

This is a team learning how to win, and now has a great rookie QB turning it around very slowly. Shades of 97, but with a far better total team and a lightyears better QB.

Sure, there's koolaid in my gut, but my koolaid view has more credence than your darkside view since your opinion is weighed heavily on past performance than present. If we relied on past performance, TB, Seattle, Cinci, and the Bears would suck out loud while the Super Bowls would all be won by the Raiders, Cowboys, Steelers, Niners and Packers. Truth is, teams turn the corner and get good. We are overdue, and we are setting up for a nice little ten year run of success. Hopefully there's a championship or two in that decade.

You are forgetting that it's always the Kool-Aiders that are biased in their realistic view of the team, never the dark-siders.

The Dark-Siders are always right, and any positive spin about this team is pure stupidity.

Sad isn't it that your statement is true.

The Cards are 31-71 in the 21st Century. With the best talent the team has had in 20 years on the field they are 1-5. What a franchise. :bang:
