Bizarre timing on dysert

Why do you say that ?

Just curious.

Guy is a 4th string QB at this point, and Gabbert is 3rd string. His fate was sealed when Gabbert got here, he may have asked to be released.

Just because he was with us all last season, then get cut so early. Not that I thought he could have beat gabbert out, just seems like strange timing to be cut after 9 days or whatever. Why even bring him back at all this year?

They are moving quickly. If your not picking things up on the 2nd field and someone else is, it's a short leash. The depth is evident. You have to grab attention.

Palmer didn't throw much during OTAs and will be throwing during mini-camp, so they made their decision between Knight and the Dragon to carry into training camp.

For me it states that Trevor Knight beat out Dysert.

So we can move on, Dysert at least 1 QB will be cut ... who will it be?

I am hopeful Gabbert can strengthen our #2 slot, I feel the QB position is the hardest to project success, and more often than not "blind luck" proves just as reliable.

They just got done with OTA's and it makes total sense that if there were people who didn't look good, didn't seem prepared etc. that you let them go.

I would guess that Dysert asked to be released. Once Blaine Gabbert was added, Dysert's chances of sticking became moot.

In the case of S Drico Johnson, having watched some tapes on him, he would have stood a much better chance if there was actual hitting and tackling. He's a physical player. Man, he really stands out on tape. Not a blazer, though. Not sure if he could play centerfield, but he could play in the box and that is where the Cardinals have depth.
