DerMarr Johnson who supposedly was not strong enough to make the Suns team last year bumped Zarko around.

Where is Zarko going to play this season? PF? Doubt it.

Zarko strikes me as someone who isn't exactly mentally tough either to sit on the bench but still work hard.

And you know this because......?

I have no doubt that his confidence was badly shaken by the Fortson mugging and the fact that his wrist never felt good during the season. But to conclude that he has no mental toughness based on that seems terribly premature.

BTW, prior to the Fortson mugging, Carbakapa did play some high post center and some PF. Not a lot, but some.

Cabarkapa has added 10 pounds to reach 231

that's his pre Olympic workout starting point. Hopefully he can get to 245. Maybe he's too lanky for that though...

There are are a lot of undersized Travis Outlaw/Luke Walton types playing PF Zarko could guard with ease I bet. Overshadow and block 'em. At the same time he might get out bumped on the defensive end but his first step will blow by the bigger guys on the offensive end.

When did he ever play C? I admit to missing last year's summer league coverage... but I'm skeptical man:)

the little article is a confidence builder if the Olympic loss isn't. With Radmanovic as the exact same player as Zarko (only better and more experienced) they didn't need him to start but I am surprised that they didn't need him to warm the bench even. MAybe they see him as a SF only... or worse maybe his shot is off...

I'd like to see him out compete Q for the backup SF spot and put in minutes as the backup PF

It's probably a bigger deal to most forgein players to represent their countries than it is for the Americans in basketball (considering alot turned it down), so i would relax a little regarding him wasting his Summer trying to play in the olympics for his country. It only comes around a few times in your life time to have that opportuniuty.

Saying he's done after one year is a ridiculous statement.

Ye have little faith.
