I question this signing. Is this a signing to motivate Graham? Has he really been that awful in the preseaon to justify this move? I am confused why we needed another punter, especially one with this kind of injury history.

They also signed veteran punter Dave Zastudil to battle Ben Graham.

Zastudil kicked for the Ravens and Browns from 2002-2009, missing all of last season with — coincidentally, given the events with running back Ryan Williams — a torn patella tendon in his plant leg. Zastudil has averaged 42.7 yards a punt in his career.

Graham has looked pretty bad this preseason, IMO.

Graham can coffin corner from the 45, be he still struggles to boom punts. Wouldn't be surprised to see more drives stall out before midfield this season than in Graham's big season two years ago. We know that Graham wasn't totally supported by the coaching staff this offseason.
