Great video.

I have high hopes for Williams, but we'll have to be patient. A PCL tear is a rough injury for a guy who relies so much on cutting and changing speeds.

Edit: Sando had a piece today about the challenges of Williams' recovery. It's worth a read.

I hope he makes it back but it's like the injury woman said, he will be back but how much will he really be back? He'll put the time, effort, and work in but will the explosiveness and cutting ability return?

Kid wears his heart on his sleeve, gotta admire that in a league full of grown-ass men, it's not easy to keep it real sometimes. I hope he comes back strong, he was the most exciting prospect in training camps and the preseason for me. I think the odds are against him achieving what his potential was prior to the injury, but life is full of people telling others what they can't do and I hope I'm wrong.

Williams tore his Patella Tendon. From all things I can find on the injury there is a good chance that after surgery (I couldn't find percentages) his leg can actually be stronger. I think it has to do with the rehab strengthening the surrounding muscles to a point that they are actually stronger than they might have been prior to the surgery.

Well let's hope he's like Garrison Hearst and not Ki-Jana Carter.

But the question is will the explosion, suddenness, and cutting ability come back to pre-surgery levels. Therein lies the concerns.

of course. I have no idea what is going to happen, that's just encouraging news from the Dr. For all I know, the Dr is wrong too...
