Get good return on Durant and maybe Booker, get young athletic and hungry guys on the team, and give Beal the green light, but let guys like Gillespie run the team. Do not put in a system where it is get the ball to Beal and clear out

I'm completely sold on trading Durant, Booker and any other veteran that returns value - even if that value is just cap space as long as we don't give up future assets to make it happen. Going forward, if we can keep Beal upright, give him every opportunity to look like a superstar so that we can then get value in return for him. But more likely, he'll be out so much that we will just be raiding the G League for players until we restock with youth and picks and we'll just have to live with him.

Ishbia has shown he will spend money. At some point, the amount of money on luxury tax and second apron spending, it may sound stupid, but it might actually save Ishbia money just buying Beal out. I don't know the math on this, but I see how some of the lower salaries we get rid of save way more money than the salary. Maybe that is his last year, or the last half season of his stay here. Heck, one way to get him to waive his NTC may be just going Jae Crowder on him. Just say, we are good, just stay home. He would miss a good chunk of those games anyway. LOL!

one thing i will say - one thing i was worried about - is that bud isn't shaking dunn's confidence or oso's far as i can tell - i actually think the random benchings bother the vets more than the rookies

dunn and oso are as confident as ever - saw it last night - they're ready too - both are still green but both are waiting for the moment

well there was one spot last night - oso rebounds and takes it up court - only kd was on the break with him - looked like oso could've gone coast to coast - he was taller than the defender and the defender was backpedaling - all oso had to do was rise and posterize but instead he passed to kd

dunn would've dunked it - he's already that familiar and comfortable - "college" oso would've dunked it too but not the inexperienced "nba" oso and i squarely blame bud for this

especially after bud kicked nurk to the curb - he could started molding and building oso for the late season run but nah - bud also could've continued to start dunn and have him build chemistry with the big 3 for the late season run but nah

not only has bud failed to find line ups and stick with them - he's completely dropped the ball by completely dropping players - starters one day zero minutes the next - bol bol being the latest - bol bol didn't change - he improved but nobody gonna change over night

nobody's good enough for bud - he doesn't put them on the back burner either he sticks them in the fridge but expects them all to be hot a moment's notice - yeah that's part of the game but come on - you gotta admit part of our problems start with bud's power trip

anyways - play the youngins got dammit - they're proving themselves to be the spark we've lacked all year - gillespie too

when (not if) your vets struggle on offense believe in the future - when your defense is getting throttled - let the children lead the way - show them all the beauty they possess inside

bud has shown to be a player hater - and not a player developer - i realize we're going thru a ish ton of coaches but funk ish - he's the one who got us into this mess - he can blame JJ all he wants but we all know who had the nuclear football

if it doesn't mess with our apron or effect our acquisition abilities - i don't care if ish has to pay 87 coaches - he can afford it

another thing about dunn - oso - gillespie - they're actually afraid of making bone headed plays and stay way more aware (than our "all stars") of dangerous passes - the rookies don't just constantly casually accidentally pass it to the other team - they're more humble than that - and it's the only way i can explain book and kd being a-ok with all the careless turnovers they generate - turnovers that clearly effect the game and it's ultimate outcome

No one has advanced from the ten seed, ever. You have to win two games against the team you are playing to advance. Almost impossible the way we have been playing lately.

It won't happen, but if they make the play-in and advance, don't celebrate like Pat Bev (is he playing in Europe the next five years?) and the pups, but most important, don't be swept by 20+ in 4 games. Keep at least a couple of them close. The best thing would be to win *one* game.

Durant had 5 turnovers against just 2 assists, that's a huge problem. Booker had 3 turnovers against 11 assists, that's a good ratio. And I'm not arguing against the idea of benching him, just your"evidence".

But bench him or not, someone needs to figure out where the real Devin is hiding so we can get rid of his subpar clone and begin to rehab the original's value. Our current version is worth about half what we're paying him, no one's going to sell the farm to acquire him. And we need superstar value when we do move Booker.
