I would not be at all surprised if one for the day 2 receivers turns out the best in this class.

I really like Jalen Royals, but I'm not sure we need a do it all receiver. Harrison and Wilson are both good players. What we lack is a true deep threat which is why I often mention Horton. But someone like Tez Johnson might work. His 40 time was bad so he's getting slated but his tape is quick and his analytics are up there at the top of this class.
Kyle Williams is your deep threat. I like his tape.

Plus ARon didn't come into the league like that. He earned his crazy.

Side note: He's done with working hard. Football is not his priority right now. His words. He should just retire. As Chuck Noll said, "If you're thinking about retiring, you're retired."
Nah rodgers was an ass before the league. CLose friend knew him.

The information that bothers me the most about Rodgers is what he did to his family. Once he came into the league, he essentially just cut them all off. They are seemingly good people and they have said publicly that they want a relationship with him and he just doesn't have contact with them. Very sad for the family.

It is exactly why I didn't add TE to my list. If Warren falls, snatch him up and then we should love our receiving options of MHJ, McBride, and Warren.
Totally agree, if Warren is there at 16 you grab him. He can actually bring more to the table than Mcbride as far as overall abilities. He was a HS QB. We would see production unseen since the Gronk/Hernandez days. Additionally both are competent blockers. Imagine what that would do for the running game and the headaches it would cause for defenses.

We really don’t know their family dynamics. There’s two sides to every story.

I mean he took photos with his family when the Packers won the SB & that was years after he came into the league.

Would love Tez Johnson on the Cardinals.

I remember liking him at Cal but never thought he was a special talent or anything. I don’t even remember being upset when the Cards passed on him in 05’.

I actually started a thread saying we should draft him that year, I loved him in college you could see how accurate he was and how much stronger his arm was than people realized. I still can't believe the 49ers passed on him for Alex Smith.

But he's a total dick now

Rodgers was passed on for being a Jeff Tedford QB...none of which had done well in the NFL prior.
But I really do think that long humiliating stay in the green room, followed by having to sit behind Favre for a couple years,...is exactly why Aaron succeeded... it instilled him with a very high level of innate "Fehoko" you....Favre was pretty much a jackass that wasnt ready to walk into the sunset...I remember him getting pissed when asked about mentoring Rodgers, and he was saying he is a Quarterback and it aint his job to teach Aaron a damn thing..so their relationship was competitive/adversarial at best..... for a guy who beleived he was going to be #1 overall...to go that late, then have to play backup to a crusty old jackass...must have been a bitter pill for the kid, lol.

We weren’t any great shakes back then but A-Aron sitting behind Kurt for a year wouldn’t have been the worst thing. As we know now Kurt still had gas left in the tank by then.
