Rip to our offense
Still plenty of talent on O to win. If this turns into building a true dominating defense, I’m all for it.

I don’t think any guard or wide receiver at this point in the draft is gonna push us over the top anyway. The hand wringing is kinda funny though.

Well said - really doubt we are drafting any difference makers for this offense on day 3 of the draft

Would not have taken him. Here’s my post from the other thread. T Rex arms, mediocre pursuit speed, sheds poorly, poor tackler. This guy screams special teams to me. Too early for that. He could be used to blitz on passing downs, but is that really a need. Only 15 college starts, not likely to see time at LB

Wow this doesn’t match his stats or other reviews.
Lead OSU in tackles w/
7 sacks. Leader on the D.

It feels like most are on board with this draft. It’s refreshing

You’ve been very good so far, but couldn’t disagree more regarding this kid. I worked for an OH based company for 30 years & developed friendships with tons of Buckeye fans. To a man & woman, they all said this was a great pick & that we would love him. Great tackler, great instincts, and great leader were in all their comments. First time we’ll have to agree to disagree lol.

Ohio St fans think the Ohio St player was a great pick?

Awesome guy! Will be a team leader, if he makes the team.

Hard to tell what kind of player he’ll be in the NFL. He had a great year this year, but was unable to get on the field his first 4 to 5 years at Ohio State. That’s concerning.

He seems a little small to me. Not sure what they list them at, but he doesn’t play very big. But maybe the light came on for him this year and he’ll be a great player going forward. it’s just questionable.

I’ll admit, I don’t know much about him but if we were going to take an Ohio State kid, should have went with Sawyer. Of course Pitt takes him a few picks later and he will probably end up the heir apparent to TJ Watt

if you're a linebacker at ohio you're friggin smart - they don't do dumb - and if you're getting 7 sacks from that position you'll fit right in with the murdergan
If you want to blitz from there just move Butch inside. He’ll get there and if they run a draw he’s more likely to make the tackle.

Never felt the need to follow the herd. I don’t hate him. I just don’t think he sees the field except special teams. He can’t cover passes. He’ll have trouble staying healthy against the physical nature of the NFL. He’s a great teammate and can play special teams. He plays okay going downhill but is otherwise limited. He likely will struggle to tackle NFL rushers. There were much better players on the board.
