With as much parity as there is in this league, the difference between wins and losses is always a couple players getting injured. The 2022 Eagles didnt lose a single starter to injury for more than a couple weeks.
The 2022 Eagles also had a significantly more talented defense than ours even with a healthy Ojulari & Robinson. With as much parity as there is in this league, the difference between wins and losses is always a couple players getting injured. The problem is, neither one of those guys should have been our #1 at this point. That was wishful thinking by our front office.Meh teams rely on highly touted rookies regularly in today’s NFL. This is just bad luck/cursed whatever you wanna call it.
No team is going to lose their #1 inside presence and and their #1 OLB and not be hurting personnel wise moving forward less than 2 weeks prior to the season.
That’s 100% debate-able…The problem is, neither one of those guys should have been our #1 at this point. That was wishful thinking by our front office.
You think that going into year 2 of the rebuild, our roster should be so stacked that 1st and 2nd round picks from the past two years should be riding the bench? I mean I wish, but there are like 3 teams in the league that can do that, its not exactly realistic. The problem is, neither one of those guys should have been our #1 at this point. That was wishful thinking by our front office.
Then who should have? The problem is, neither one of those guys should have been our #1 at this point. That was wishful thinking by our front office.
Yep, the season is officially over. Before BJ & Darius went down I thought there was potential to go 8-9 or 9-8 and maybe fight for a wildcard. That’s not likely now.
Not yet but needing imaging and being carted off sure doesn’t sound goodDo we know the extent of Darius Robinson's injury?

Hopefully a high ankle sprain or something like that. That usually requires a cart and imaging! Not yet but needing imaging and being carted off sure doesn’t sound good
FOr sure and could likely be back in 6 weeks or soHopefully a high ankle sprain or something like that. That usually requires a cart and imagining!
I’m not trying to be dramatic but getting carted off the field is pretty telling. Would be SHOCKED if it isn’t season ending.Yes, but I still want to hope for something better.
He's a big dude, the cart could be for lots of things.I’m not trying to be dramatic but getting carted off the field is pretty telling. Would be SHOCKED if it isn’t season ending.
So hope I’m wrong. Was so pumped to see his impact on the field. Our pass rush keeps getting weaker by the day. This D is about to get shredded. He's a big dude, the cart could be for lots of things.
No GOOD team is going into a season with their #1 OLB and their #1 inside presence being pretty much completely unproven players… especially when they’re sitting on at least 25 million bucks worth of cap room and their defense was atrocious last year.Meh teams rely on highly touted rookies regularly in today’s NFL. This is just bad luck/cursed whatever you wanna call it.

Make it so and the next bottle of ether’s on me.He has a mild sprain and will be out two weeks. I’m going to will this statement to life.
Good thing we did a lot to improve our pass rush and have depth thereBrutal. Potentially lost their two best pass rushers before the season even started.
