Hold onto the ball, Murray!
Oh please oh please oh please.
All strains are technically tears, small tears to the microfibers!Hopefully a Strain and not a tear
There is always 1All strains are technically tears, small tears to the microfibers!
I guess that is better than not having a calf!xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
This kind of phrasing has taken over in the NFL...it's a calf! He has an ankle! It's dumbing down the verbiage to an absurd level.I guess that is better than not having a calf!
Not to be a Debbie downer, but can a calf also mean Achilles injury? I hope it’s nothing serious!!
He seemed pissed off at the guys who reported the news during a closed portion of practice which appears against Cards policy
Gotta be honest, this thread is a bit overboard for a non designated calf injury. Could just be a strain and out a couple of weeks.
Calf injuries are rarely season ending unless this is mis diagnosed and he's done an achilles or something.
It would be bad for DRob, but won't make a vast difference to the team.
Reminds me of how former Bears coach Dave Wannstedt used to call out injuries - "He's got a head!"This kind of phrasing has taken over in the NFL...it's a calf! He has an ankle! It's dumbing down the verbiage to an absurd level.
Hopefully a Strain and not a tear
Burrow was able to start Week 1 but was a shell of himself until week 5, I dont think it was reinjured either. I dont care how much time Drob misses as long as its not season ending.I'm not sure but the last major calf injury in the NFL that I remember happened to Joe Burrow last season. If I recall he missed all of the preseason but was able to start Week 1. However I think he tweaked it again in week 2.
No, but a strained calf can lead to an Achilles injury (see Double A Ron Rodgers) unless treated correctly (see Joe Burrow). Not to be a Debbie downer, but can a calf also mean Achilles injury? I hope it’s nothing serious!!
Okay maybe there is always 2 sorry @bankybruceStrains are minor tears.
Back in the forties, we called it whistling past the graveyard.Hmmm JG make it sounds not so serious... Lets hope its just a calf!
