On Monday, the Lakers visit the Suns in Phoenix for a rematch.

Ironically, the Suns play at the Clippers again on Thursday, so they are getting a good look at the LA teams.

The Suns move to 2-1 on the season after their win over the Mavericks on Saturday.

When: Monday, October 28, 2024

Television: Suns Live, Arizona's Family 3TV / Arizona's Family Sports, NBA TV

Radio: KMVP 98.7 / S: KSUN

Time: 7 PM Arizona time

The Lakers come into the game 3-0 after their win over the Kings tonight.

All of their games have been at home.

Phoenix is the first stop on a five game road trip for them.

Anthony Davis starts the season with three straight games of at least 30 points each.

Darvin Ham might have been the worst coach ever.

There’s more to this. Some of their guys I feel are healthy as they ever been.

But AD will go down. What he is doing is not sustainable because he is made of toilet paper.

I will be at this game. Suns can't let me down and need to even the season series. Nothing worse at being at a Lakers/Suns game in Phoenix and allowing the too numerous Lakers fans to get too vocal. I love it when they are quiet at the end of the game. Nurkic has to play better than last time (low bar) and hopefully builds on his play against the Mavs although AD is a different beast and a tough cover for him. Hopefully, he gets some help.

The Suns will get Grayson Allen back. He is AVAILABLE.

Bradley Beal is QUESTIONABLE.

Josh Okogie is still OUT.

We could use double digit scoring game from Allen here. 6 threes, or more would be nice. :)

Beal has already had 3 different injuries this season. Things are not looking up in terms of Beal's health and it's just 3 games in. Maybe it's time for the Suns to consider moving him to the bench. I know what people are going to say already but there is something to be said about creating chemistry for the starting lineup. That's hard to do if you have to keep shuttling guys in and out of the starting lineup when a guy is constantly in and out of the lineup in Beal.

I'm sorry, but I do not expect a Suns victory this time around either. Am I supposed to think they have corrected their huge problems two games later? While lebron james and anthony davis are hardened professionals.
Well I do. I refuse to believe the Suns are not better than the crappy Lakers.

All the Suns have to do is cut down on the ridiculous number of turnovers in the last game, and not go to the KD ISO offense.

As I see it, there is a whole season for the Suns to figure out their rotation. If Beal can't stay healthy, he might eventually come off the bench by default. The decision may become obvious. No need for Bud to force the issue.

At the moment, we are getting a preview of the Suns with Ryan Dunn as a starter.

This team is so deep right now that injuries might make it easier to figure out individual game rotations.

That's what we said last season and that never really felt like it completely happened. There were guys in and out of the lineup (a huge reason was Beal). There was just never any cohesion built with that starting 5. I think you need to have a stable lineup to do that.

I think this is the way Bud is looking at it.

The injury to Josh Okogie could be a blessing in disguise, as it gives other players an opportunity to show what they can do.
