Sorry I couldn’t join in the game time chat. I was at my sons house and forgot my glasses.
What a game. I think if anybody say “ but Kyler only had 150 yards” they should be banned.
A total team victory. We reestablished that we a brutally good running team.
Six sacks(?)
Kicking team again was flawless.

Can the defense be this good.

On a bad note. This might put to sleep any thoughts of acquisitions.

NFL games have so many plays but I really think the TD run by DeMercado right before the half was a knockout blow, I don't think the Bears could handle that on the heels of the hail mary screwup the prior game.

That was so perfectly blocked and DeMercado hit it perfectly. I've been watching the replay over and over that's probably the best blocked run play since a big Tim Hightower run ages ago, maybe Chase had a huge one up the gut in a game but he didn't score.

Several nice plays from Benson but I thought his last 2-3 runs he was a bit hesitant and I wonder if that's why DeMercado got the carries at the end even after the fumble?
I questioned him not making cuts up field on those last carries

Hesitating is not good for a RB

He started off okay

Yup. Even as a Cards well conditioned to worry no matter the score, that exclamation point to end the half felt like a dagger to a Bears team already off its axis from last week’s Hail Mary.

I saw Benson hesitate when the defense only left a path towards the sideline...which was good because we wanted to keep the clock moving... the up the middle runs just seamed cluttered because the defense knew what we were doing.

Either way...Demarcado has greatly improved since last season...between he and Benson I'm pretty comfortable with the future of our rushing attack

Eh there is a clear reason why the Cardinals kept Demercado over Carter. He is a good all around back, not a starter, but a huge plus as a #3 back.
