I hope you’re right, but it would be a first for JG. Maybe the opportunity to go 3-0 in the division makes it worth it considering the DL is our most glaring need. But, this organization is always looking long term, and they don’t play guys without 2 weeks of practice unless injuries force them to.
It would mostly depend on 2 things...1) Was he held back longer due to injury or did his mom's death impact his return. 2) How much was he getting on the side the last few weeks with strength and conditioning, plus what did he do in the bye week. I think it was reported some players were still coming in to work on things in the off week.

Cards can be up by 4 touchdowns with two minutes left and I still get nervous.
My sons don’t want me to watch the Cardinals, because I’m bad luck. I’ve seen the Cardinals play live 36 times & only seen them win THREE times!! TV record is better, but not by much. My boys will text me when it’s actually safe for me to watch. They did allow me to watch most of the 4th quarters the last two wins vs Jets & Bears lol.

How many years did we give SMB? Any chance he's cut this offseason? Souldn't be ahead of Melton.
Three years. Cut him next year he's 8.5 million in dead money, 1.5 in savings. Post June 1, dead money of 6.5 million and 3.5 in savings.

So, good contract for him. We don't gain much by cutting him.

Ugh, he's going to end up being an expensive back up.

Cardinals DC Nick Rallis said determining what plays to hold back from calling in Seattle on Sunday because Arizona plays the Seahawks again in two weeks is a "little bit of a chess match"
I don’t hold anything back. Win this game and we will worry about the next game.

According to everyone's favorite site, he's about the same as Max and Starling. Garrett is quite a bit above them with his score. You can move on after 2025 with just $2 million in dead money and $7.5 million in saving for 2026, which was probably the idea.

The CB room should look identical next year, aside from Jones probably replacing Clark.

Doesn't hurt to have a vet when your CB room is so young. So what if he is a full-time back up next next at $10 million. We'll have like $120 million in cap space. He's insurance! We complain when we don't have decent NFL quality backups.

The thing that's really starting to catch my attention, and i think NFL people all over now is that look at our 4 losses. Detroit is 9-1, Buffalo is 9-2, Green Bay is 7-3, Washington 7-4. That's 32-10 combined record in our losses.
We could have won both Buffalo and Detroit games, so we're 6-4 and with a little luck, and some plays, we could be 8-2.

Doesn't mean we're going to beat Seattle but this is NOT a fluke first 10 games, we've played extremely well in 8 of our 10 games

Nah, that shakes out both ways. If Ryland isn't on fire and Kyler doesn't bring us back, we could be 4-6. Our record is our record. 6-4 is plenty good for us right now.
