Let's face it

We laid an egg last week on offense

Defense held their own

We need both of them to show up today and be prepared

Drew had better have an improved offensive plan and be prepared to make adjustments

Ground game has to get going for us to have a chance

Oline needs to protect KM so he has time to make the reads when there are open receivers

DP needs to game plan for getting receivers open with creative routes including hot reads and crossing routes

We need KM to have one of his focused days

This game will show if we are pretenders, which after last week there are questions

Hoping to see a hard fought game and the entire team giving their all

Go Cardinals!

6-5 Cardinals at 9-2 Vikings (-3.5), Sunday 1:00 p.m. ET, Fox (Joe Davis and Greg Olsen)

The Vikings return home for three straight games at U.S. Bank Stadium, culminating in a Monday night visit from the Bears. Minnesota has won four in a row and swept a three-game road trip (Jaguars, Titans, Bears).

Arizona slipped into a first-place NFC West tie with the Seahawks, after losing 16-6 in Seattle. It was the first time the Cardinals failed to score a touchdown all season.

Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold has 14 turnovers, tied for the league lead with Gardner Minshew. Minnesota officially added Daniel Jones to the practice squad on Friday.

Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon was an assistant defensive backs coach with the Vikings from 2014 through 2017.

Hoping the Vikings beating three weaker teams will give them a false sense of arriving and take us for granted. Follow up, hopefully the Cardinals are pissed that they should have beaten the Seahags and have fire in their belly.

Let's go Cardinals!

This is the biggest game of the season so far. Going down the stretch, 7-5 is better than 6-6 from a playoff positioning perspective. KM and MHJ have to be the tandem today that we all thought they could be. If the offense sputters again this week while the defense keeps them in the game, the OC must be fired immediately.

I don't usually get feelings about games, I just sit back and watch it unfold. I have feelings about this game. They aren't good...:(:(:(

Surprised the spread is only 3.5.. historically, handicapping the nfl you get 3 points as the home team and then the other variables come into play to handicap at least the starting spread.

had a bad feeling before seattle but today is weird - neither good or bad so idk - games like after last week are when kyler realizes he has to run to make it all work especially behind the line of scrimmage to buy more time - i want to see some covid era personal distancing from kyler murray today - nobody gets within 6 feet and if there's too many then take the hell off

saw our o-line coach on the news talking about we want to be one of the best silent count teams in the league - kinda hard when everyone knows exactly when the ball is being snapped - seattle feasted on fro's head drop - the defense saw it in real time giving them the jump on the rest of our o-line - embarrassing is the word ive been using all week

im not worried about our running backs - mcbride either

i think our defense will be tested today tho - they're not nobody's to be underestimated anymore and we do have some weaknesses - minnesota also has a quality tight end - we can get burned if we get too cute

what last week reminded us - whoever wants it more is going to take it - talent be damned this is still a physical game - establishing dominance early is crucial on the road - we just have to want it more

All things point to a bad day.
Going up against the #1 run defense points to a disaster.
Do we stick with the run as we slowly fall further behind?
If we can’t run, we can’t win. Simple as that.
Add to that we are playing in a place where we have stunk.
Yes, if we are effective running the ball and the defense continues to play like we have, we got a chance.
Kyler is not leading us to victory with 350 yards and 4 Td’s. He just isn’t.

So interesting, out of character for him to say something like that. I’m guessing he’s been pretty fed up behind the scenes to willingly say something like this publicly. I thought “the ball goes where it is supposed to go” JG.

Don’t get me wrong at this point I kinda want to start force feeding him.

Murray is due for a good game if they just get him on the move. I see a tight game that could easily go down to the last drive. I hear Vikes are up for the game. Murray on the run can frustrate any team.

I think it will l come down to how well the Cardinals handle Jefferson. If Jefferson has a big day then it will not be close and Jefferson is due for a big game as he hasn't had one in his last three games.
