Phoenix is now 12-9 for the season after their loss to the Pelicans.

Are they bouncing back or coming out flat?

Teams are going to relentlessly attack the Suns inside. IMO. It's more can the Suns fix the problem?

If not, I expect more of the same no matter how they come out of the locker room.

I don't see the answer on the roster, especially when the Suns can't stay healthy.

You and I have been on this bandwagon for some time now. We need PF or PF/C that is a dog. Nurk is a defensive sift and even though we have some energy guys we need another DOG IMO. I just don't see how we get that unless someone finds value in Nurk or we trade one of our SG/Wings. Even then it's going to be difficult to match salaries.

We will see what the Suns can do between December 15th and the trade deadline. I'm not overly optimistic.

If they can't fix the 4/5 position, I can't see a happy ending.

It may come down to a key player wanting out, for ownership to change its trajectory. Mat Ishbia seems intent on extending Kevin Durant.

Suns list Ryan Dunn (left ankle soreness) as questionable for tomorrow against the Heat. Kevin Durant (left ankle sprain), Jusuf Nurkic (right thigh contusion) and Collin Gillespie (right ankle fracture) remain out, no Bradley Beal on the report after turning his ankle last night

The interior size is an issue, but you can't tell me with effort they can't beat the likes of New Orleans or Miami.

The problem is, the Suns have not shown the discipline to bring the effort every night. Even if they played as hard as the Warriors, who are a smallish team, they would be much more successful.

I wish some Suns players traveled to the Big 12 Championship game to see what excitement is all about.

Nurkic may be a bad defender, but he is the only very good rebounder on this a team that is weak in rebounding, and certainly the best rebounder it has.

He's excellent at nothing but rebounding...but he's excellent at rebounding. So I'm not sure what to do with him.

If they can, the Suns need to add to their big men, not subtract. It's an area of weakness.

610 more point by D Book to tie Walter Davis for franchise points record.

This is why the KD trade was made. This is what games looked like with just D Book as the primary scorer.

The problem with ever officially giving up on Devin Booker would seem be that he is the Suns' only homegrown star at all since Amare Stoudemire in 2002. He's the face of the franchise. But for all that, is Booker even particularly popular in Arizona? I wonder.
Did you know there's only two professional sports star statues in AZ at all? I just think AZ is not as rabid about sports as other states.

It's been discussed ad nauseam so I will not discuss it any further here.

I see Ishbia extending KD. We will let Nurk and Beal walk most likely. Finding replacements will be very interesting.

Laugh all you wish, but I find it hard to say how upset fans would be if a franchise-resetting Booker trade brought back a haul that they found acceptable. I'm not sure Devin Booker has the popularity Kevin Johnson had (before his shower with an underage girl was known), much less what Charles Barkley had (before he got mad and started sulking away the 1995-96 season). I believe Booker is too cool to inspire fans that way--and, worse, possibly too cool to inspire his own teammates to play better. Even if Booker were the sort of player who dunked, I can't see Booker dunking on some much bigger player and then screaming in excitement over it. And of course he's overpaid.
Everywhere I go in the Valley, I see book jerseys literally EVERYWHERE.
