trust me i will - have a good nightLaugh all you wish
I agree, it's not. The late Joe Gilmartin *stated that before 1967, when the NBA inquired among Phoenicians about the possibility of giving Phoenix an NBA franchise, people were interested but not terribly excited, hardly acting wide-eyed with awe. And Richard Bloch, the founder of the NBA-to-Phoenix idea (and therefore the father of the Suns franchise), had been convinced by his friend the Seattle Supersonics owner that "it would be fun."Did you know there's only two professional sports star statues in AZ at all? I just think AZ is not as rabid about sports as other states.
Booker not getting any love from the referees.
book fouled again - no call
I think had we won the Lew Alcindor coin flip and won a championship early on, this state could have become a sports state. But after so many decades of not winning titles, it's easy for fans to not expect much from their teams.I agree, it's not. *Source: Gilmartin's book The Little Team That Could, about the 1975-76 Finals team and the beginnings of the franchise. (I went to the rare books room at the main library in Phoenix and read it, around a decade ago.)
Teams that always reach and grab, like Miami, just get the games called differently. Inconsistent refereeing really hurts the enjoyment of the NBA.Devin is polite and played for the Olympic team. What does it take?
