A better view of Cam Skattebo with the Big 12 Championship belt or a replica.

Outside of that locker room, probably nobody. I was hopeful for bowl eligibility and that was about it and even I thought that might be a reach
I thought maybe a .500 season this year, competitive losses, and I would have been completely ok with that. But, this team just kept getting better and better. This ASU team would smoke the ASU team that started the season. It's special to see it all fall into place like that. If the injury to Leavitt had been catastrophic it's probably very different. But even that went our way.

Every year. They feast on the Big 10 cellar dwellers and lose to Ohio State. It's such a top-heavy conference.
Exactly. And that is why Ohio St always pisses me off as well. Look at their nonconference schedule. They never play anyone worth a crap. They play like two legit teams a year.

I think it’s embarrassing that a P4 champ would be relegated to a 12 seed when winning your conference should guarantee you a home first round game if you don’t get the bye
They need to adopt the method used for the NCAA basketball tournament. Which is after all conference championships have been played, the selection committee analyzes all teams based upon a number of factors, including strength of schedule. Winning a conference championship doesn’t guarantee an automatic bid into the tournament, however, in basketball, all teams in a conference play for the conference championship, unlike football. So a team can theoretically come out of nowhere and win a conference championship in bball and not make the tournament.

Anyway, I would guess next season the NCAA will make this change for football.

Lots of build-up and promos for the SEC championship game from ABC. They started coverage for the BIG 12 championship right before kick-off.

Kenny Dillingham on a momentum shifting 4th and 1 play call.

I don’t believe anything will change until the SEC and/or B1G champion finds themselves in ASUs shoes of being a 12 seed. They are the voices and they run this show.

The college football calendar is so stupid. ASU might have been able to flip a higher level recruit who was watching todays game but since almost all of them committed earlier in the week it is a lost opportunity
