Probably won’t happen with MB’s cheap ass but these losers have to go. Need to find a coach and QB with real fire in their guts and hearts.

K1- we’ve seen enough of this clown. Next year I’d rather root for Jamesis and a rookie than this pouty B. Who cares about the cap, I’m sick of watching K1s crap.

JG- have you ever seen a more lifeless and emotionless coach? In any sport? Looks like a dead fish on land. At first, wow he’s really under control. Now, he has control of nothing. What other coach doesn’t get emotional with a ref or player from time to time? LaFleur was going to fight a lions fan on the field. During a game, JG looks like he’s watching an episode of HGTV. Has any player improved under his coaching?

MO- “smartest man in the room”. Passes on Will Anderson for PJJ and some magic beans. PJJ will be Levi Brown. Takes MHJ over Nabers, Alt and Bowers. How about trading down for Max Melton? Passed on Dejean and other CBs. With however many draft picks MO has had, how many look like blue chip pro bowl players? I’d say 0. How about his FA moves… Justin Jones, Nicols, SMB, Jonah Williams were the big fish. What a complete and utter failure. Not to mention tampering the hire of JG which cost us magic beans. But he re-signed Froholdt!!! Lol

Everything I read said MHJ was best WR in a decade to be in the draft. How do you pass on that? JG hasn't been given enough talent and MO is a handcuffed GM working for Bidwill. Give them next year with huge salary cap dollars to spend. If it's SOC then say goodbye. Should have spent the dollars it took to get Sean Payton.

i understand your frustration but none of what you typed makes much sense. You received a brief stint of good football from a team who is clearly in the midst of an extensive roster turnover.

Most likely this team will finish with twice as many wins as the previous season....that is progress.

Next year is the year they take a leap in my opinion.

MO's draft picks have been quality. There is plenty to build on

I'd be perfectly fine getting rid of Kyler, and Monti hasn't proven anything at this point. The only one who I'm somewhat happy with is JG, and he's gotten destroyed the last 3 weeks when it actually matters against decent teams.

JG and MO haven't moved the meter for me, but I will give them another year and see how MO handles the off-season/draft. I would like to see a new OC. If we are sub.500 and miss the playoffs next year, you really need to look at letting JG/MO go, we have an adquate sample size now.

What Gannon has done with this glorified practice squad roster is nothing short of a miracle. Imagine what he would do with a halfway decent roster.

Monti needs to be more aggressive in free agency and trades. His drafts so far have yielded good talent

Kyler is who he is. A Top-15-20 QB with some impressive moments, but mostly costly mistakes. I commend Gannon and Monti being K1-4-lyfers, but at some point, they have to acknowledge his limitations

I’d like to see a seasoned OC at the helm for once before putting it all on Kyler’s. Am I ready to move on ? Yes. Do think Kyler is going to be a better fit on a different team? Absolutely.

We have a dumpster fire of an organization imo. I don’t think if you even subbed a Patrick Mahomes on to this team, that you have a contending for Super Bowl team… and Mahomes is light years better of a QB.

Where is the proof of this? He had 7 of the top 90 picks in the last draft. Who is a legitimate contributor of that group?

No longer a year ahead of schedule obviously. Taking the strategic point of view, will it be better drafting 10 to 15th then it would have been losing in the first round of the playoffs and drafting 20th?

The next four games will give a clearer picture of this team. Win 3 of 4 and I'm optimistic heading into the offseason. Less than that and there are serious doubts about it.

Tom Landry comes to mind. I mentioned this in another thread. His teams had 20 consecutive winning seasons, a stretch that included 13 division titles, 18 playoff berths and victories in Super Bowls VI and XII. The Cowboys also played in Super Bowls V, X and XIII.

I've had some coffee and taken my meds... Kyler still sucks.
I agree. But no need to clean house.
MO and JG were saddled with a young unproven QB with a shitton of baggage...who was out for half the season.
They made due until he proved himself...and he has. He's proven he ain't the guy

I don't really care if we go 2-2 or 3-1 the rest of the way. Ideally, we close with a four game stretch like we had in the middle of the season. Where, even if we lose to SF and/or LA we at least played very well. If we are 2-2 and the last two games are 20-19 and 24-23 losses that will probably be okay. At least we will have closed the gap on our division. We were 0-6 and all of them were blowout losses last year.

This team is largely overachieving this year and JG and MO are at the forefront of it. It's clearly a well-coached team, that's JG. This team also has a lot of young players stepping in and playing pretty well in big roles, that's largely MO.

It’s not tho. It’ll likely finish either just above or below its 7.5-won over-under.

I argue that JG does acknowledge his limitations. That is why the offense goes through Conner 1st and the passing game is largely short passes.

You don’t come out of a bye and lose 3 straight and get dominated in two of those games and be well coached or overachieving.

I love JG but he better get the ship righted.

MO is whole different topic.

Oh, and none of the topic is happening after this season no matter what happens.

At some point you have to get a coach you really like and stick with him.

In 104 years, the Cards have had 43 different coaches.

In 91 years, the Steelers, as a comparison, have had 16 different head coaches - and they have had only 3 head coaches over the past 55 years.
