That is, unfortunately, what I’m saying.

I like those two kids a lot also. I think they could both be regular rotation players with upside moving forward.
Dunn for sure, Oso while I like his attitude and hustle, I'm really not sure he will ever be more than a backup.

Am I the only one who doesn’t care about our 2031 pick. I mean since we drafted Booker.. outside of Mikal.. what has our first pick really done for us? I just feel like with crappy GM who can’t draft for crap, the pick is not much value to us.

The odds are greatly against JJ still being here when 2031 rolls around. And Ishbia has brought back the G League and hopefully is going to undo what Sarver did to our scouting staff. But regardless, it would be shortsighted to throw away a pick because we've wasted picks in the past. That pick has value and we need all the value we can get. I'm okay with trading it if it helps our future, I just hate the possibility we'll trade it for a short term fix that won't fix a damned thing.

It all depends on what that draft pick brings in return. Who knows what the Suns will look like in 2031.

If it brought the Suns a player in trade who could help them contend for a championship, then one seriously has to look at it.

Phoenix chose the NOW when they traded for Kevin Durant.

I don't want to wait another 10 years, likely more, for another window to open.

Do the names Camara or Dunn ring a bell?

Gambo is on crack, the Heat would never, ever do a Beal for Butler swap, especially without us throwing a pick in. Beal is worth less than nothing, hell, I think just to get rid of Beal we would have to attach a lot of value.

I like Beal the dude, and as a player he tries hard and has his moments, but even when healthy, that contract was awful, and he's basically never healthy, and the injuries have taken a serious toll on his production.

In a league where Ben Simmons contract is expiring and Durant has yet to get extended, Bradley Beal is the worst contract in the sport.

Gambo initially reported the Heat don’t have any interest in Beal. Is he saying the opposite now?

Beal is not close to the worst contract.

Kawhi and Embid considering their health are much worse contracts. Kawai will likely never play again.

You're opinion of Beal is far too low. He is still quite efficient and given a bigger role he can be a number 1 scorer. Yeah he is injury prone - but so is Butler.

I think it's more like they know for the good of their team they need to get rid of Butler, and even though they don't like Beal much, he is the only real offer.

Has anyone been paying attention to the Grizzlies? This offensive system they are running is really interesting. I remember when this assistant coach of theirs was running this offense in high school and having huge success.

I think the Suns should consider running this offense - problem is we don't really have the stretch center, but if we did this when we went small I think it could really work.

Here is the video explaining it.

The Heat aren’t going into the 2nd apron because of Beal. It’s that simple.

The thought occurred to me that the Heat might be able to flip Beal to a third team for assets.

I don't have a clue to whom, but this might explain their interest.

The diff in salary between Beal and Butler is like 3 million.

They can easily dump that much in contracts to stay under the 2nd apron.

Maybe to a bad team like the Wiz or Charlotte - except I don't see Beal ok'ing a deal to either. No I think it would have to be to Miami.

It's definitely hard to figure. We are missing some pieces. The Heat would be replacing a star with a star, so that's something.

It could be the Heat like Beal on his contract more than what they would have to pay Butler going forward.

They don’t want that future salary which is why they aren’t extending Butler. Bam and Beal are both the super max. Besides Herro and Beal are a terrible fit so basketball wise it doesn’t make sense either.

He didn't say that. He said there is genuine interest from Bulter wanting to come here to play. To my knowledge he has never reported that the Heat are trying to make the trade happen. Did I miss something?
